According to that page ex-Yorkshire Energy customers will be placed on a tariff called Energy Exclusive Online.
Tap on View Tariff Information Labels under that tariff heading, enter a few details and you get a list of Tariffs available for sale.
Oh, that's interesting. Details for the Energy Exclusive Online tariff have been removed.0 -
I've just logged onto SP using the app rather than the website and according to the switch tracker
" Meter Readings Received
We are currently processing your meter readings. Your switchover to Scottish Power is nearly complete "
Lets hope that's the case 🤞🏻Although no Welcome Pack available to download yet0 -
gsmh said:I don't understand how SP can be supplying our energy from 6 December yet is not technically our supplier. It makes no sense at all to me. Surely it's simply a change of company name on a computer. They're either supplying us or they aren't. If they are we are their customers. There is a 14 day cooling off period baked into the system that prevents them being registered on the national database for those 2 weeks. Technically we have no supplier until this is done, but under the Supplier of Last Resort regulations they are entitled to bill us from the date they were appointed by Ofgem.rhcp said:With regards to credit balances, how long will it take Yorkshire Energy to produce them? Scottish Power will have no idea how much credit you have and will bill accordingly. If we switch before the final bill is calculated then Scottish Power will expect full payment to be received, so even if you have a decent credit balance available, that will be ignored in your final bill with Scottish Power, and will have to wait for a refund later. In the short term, it will mean paying extra instead of assuming that your credit balance will cover it.alpaco47 said:I have just spoken to SP who cannot give me a definite timescale for setting up my account. It should be 3 weeks, but it could be anytime. I applied 2 weeks ago with my meter readings, but nothing has been forthcoming from them. They can't even confirm that they have my meter readings. They said it was quite normal for them not to acknowledge applications for the new acount and I will not gvet any correspondence from the until my account is set up.Re charges, I was told that their 'exclusive' tariff for YE customers is: Electricity Day 19.896p Night 7.946p Standing Charge 20.85p per day! Gas is 2.767p. Standing charge 23.33p per day. Their Electricity day rate is just under 40% higher than I am paying YE and their Standing Charges appear to be over 70% more than YE. Gas tariff is about 3% more, but their standing charge is over 300% more!. Surely it cannot be right that they can just charge us what they like, when we have no control over this.I was told these figures are not available on the web and they can only be obtained over the phone as these are special tariffs only available to YE customers. No wonder I will be chaning suppliers as soon as I can.Does anyone have any different info on these 'exclusive' tariifs0

SP website still saying needs meter readings......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0 -
My online account shows the needs meter reading bit greyed out, as in ‘not reached that stage yet’.0

I also tried the Scottish Power app (via an Android Fire tablet) mentioned in this thread but does not seem to work (keep getting error message)!0 -
Slinky said:Well it's not going well so far! I submitted my meter readings to SP on Monday last week when they asked for them, having submitted the same readings to YE the previous day. I was previously a SP customer, left last year.Today I have received an email titled: We're sorry you've changed your mind. It's dated 6th May 2019!!!I logged into my account (I managed to reset my login details from last year last week), to discover that I am indeed switching to SP. They are asking for meter readings again.

There's a progress visual below where it says they want a meter reading, but there's nothing clickable to take you to anywhere to submit it. As I thought from my previous experience with them, they are a shower of $hyte.
Below the image on the welcome page of the bloke reading his paper, there's a link to Reviews of the Welcome Cycle. Have a click of that and see where that takes you........ Sums it up completely.

Haven’t had so much as an email confirmation but seems others are in the same boat. I need to try the app and see if anything is revealed in there, but what a !!!!!! show0

Just had a look at the comparison websites and this tariff is reasonably competitive and the best Scottish Power tariff. I'll still move away as there is cheaper out there and that Scottish Power don't seem to have a good reputation. One thing for sure is that whatever I do, it will still be quite an increase on Yorks Energy.
