I've been pretty disappointed with MSE Cheap Energy Club recently. Lots of tariffs missing, including the current cheapest option for me.gsmh said:
Does BG Evolve come up on MSE Cheap Energy Club? I've never seen it.BedrockFred said:BG Evolve still looks good for me 12 month fixed and no penalty to leave should a better deal comes along
Saving of well over £100 over SP's tariff

I've not seen it on CEC. It does come up on the CAB comparison for me. They seem a good balance of stability and value for gas. I was hoping to take a short term hit on the electric, and go dual fuel with them to get a Smart Meter upgrade. Unusually (for a BG subsidiary) they don't seem to do smart meters. I'm guessing they are really barebones, for that competitive edge.gsmh said:

Scottish Power should have made contact with you by now. Check the spam folder of your email account you used with YE.winniethewitch said:

I had the email from SP on 7 December, sent them my meter reading and DD details, then heard nothing, and no DD has appeared in my online banking. So I rang them today, spoke to a very helpful lady, who gave me my new SP account number and my new tariff details: 14.747p per unit (14.002p with YE) and standing charge 22.74p per day (12.698p with YE). With the account number I could set up an online account, but there wasn't much to see. Like others have said, my tariff (electricity only) was described as
"Energy Exclusive
caveats ERC_FIXED_E23B ERC_FIXED_E23B" but I could see no such tariff on their website.
I guess I'll just have to be patient before switching, but meanwhile the increase isn't as bad as I expected.

You don't think it is the second one mentioned in the list here: https://www.scottishpower.co.uk/gas-and-electricity/our-tariffsuptdale said:Like others have said, my tariff (electricity only) was described as"Energy Exclusive

"Energy Exclusive Online", which has a link to the T&Cs that is a document named FIXED_OL_E23B_TERMS.pdf ?

Your new supplier is Scottish Power, like it is for everyone else, as is detailed on http://www.ye.co.uk, and on the Scottish Power website Yorkshire Energy | Gas and Electricity Company | ScottishPowerwinniethewitch said:

As @masonic said, it may be that the SP email went to spam? Even if you didn't get an email for some reason, or it went to spam, behind the scenes the work to switch you to Scottish Power will be going on.
If you are unable to speak to them by phone, they offer other support options on their Contact Us page, including Live Chat and email Get in touch | Gas and Electricity Company | ScottishPower0 -
Bagand -pity they are crap. You seem to be a supporter of SP for some reason, flying in the face of the evidence2

I'm not a supporter of SP. Not sure where you get that impression. I'll be leaving them for a competitive tariff elsewhere just like everyone else on this thread.Malchester said:Bagand -pity they are crap. You seem to be a supporter of SP for some reason, flying in the face of the evidence
I'm trying to keep cool and stay patient though. They have 74,000 accounts to transfer, that isn't going to happen overnight. Whilst there will be a certain amount of automation, it’s not a case of press a button on a computer and all accounts are transferred and set up.
Things are clearly happening in the background to get the accounts transferred. They've made contact, asked for certain details, DD are now cropping up in bank accounts with account numbers. It's ticking over, it was never going to be instantaneous. Worrying about it won't speed it up. I know many are expecting, hoping even, that SP will c*ck it all up, but for the time being I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.
My post above was in reply to someone asking for help, I hope the links I shared will help them.1 -
heres a great start, YE have passed my bank details to SP. Is this within GDPR regs ? I intend to switch as soon as possible want nothing to do with " an independent nation"
As part of your move from Yorkshire Energy to ScottishPower, we've been trying to contact you to confirm which bank account you would like your direct debit payments to come from. As we've not heard back from you (or in some cases, only received partial information), we've now received your bank details via secure transfer from Yorkshire Energy. To help ensure as smooth a transition to ScottishPower as possible, we need your permission to use these bank details
Unfortunately, if we don't receive confirmation from you by 23rd December 2020, you'll have to pay for your energy by card, cash or cheque, which will work out more expensive for you.Div 1 Play Off Winners 2007
