YE credit applied overnight to SP account!! Hurrah!!!
£104.12 to come back in refund, after all SP charges and one DD of £95 taken.... wonder how long it'll take SP to actually action the refund with an open DD?!?!?!?!?!?......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

My electricity has gone to NR. Did the rest of you go for fixed or variable?
SP have reduced my DD accordingly, but not by enough. It's 20% higher than what they recommend 🤣0 -
I initiated a switch of both utilities to a fixed deal with Avro on 6 January.goatfaced said:My electricity has gone to NR. Did the rest of you go for fixed or variable?

What they recommend is irrelevant, I had a SP sales call where they tried to convince me that staying with them with a reduced DD was better than continuing a switch to a cheaper tariff.goatfaced said:It's 20% higher than what they recommend 🤣
I've been with avro for a month. Still no bill from YE or Avro and a vastly incorrect one from SP that I don't want to go near until the "national database" is fixed.

Good luck getting that sorted. SP are known for blocking switches by keeping you in debt.phillw said:

Yeah I don't care what they recommend but it's bonkers that they changed it to something different to what they themselves think it should be. Why not just change it to what they think? Muppets. Their recommendation is lower so that's what they're getting. It will cover the bills.phillw said:

Noticed my credit has gone into my SP account, still showing in YE thou lol
Hopefully the credit will be in my bank quite soon. To be honest I’ve had no problems with SP so far.0 -
Fortunately I'm no longer an SP customer, but that doesn't stop them incorrectly billing for the time I was with them.Mrs_Arcanum said:

They couldn't block my switch as they hadn't even produced a bill for me to be late on by the time I switched away.1 -
YE have calculated my final bill, hurrah! I'm staying with SP for gas as they are the cheapest for me, will rethink in a month or so. I'm wondering if going with variable was the wrong thing for electricity now. Any ideas why symbio appear on MSE comparison but NR doesn't? I could save 60 quid by going with symbio's fixed compared to neon's.0
