    I have the same message for gas, switch due on Monday 26th
    Same here, due to switch on Monday 25th, worryingly though, although SP had acknowledged my request to switch, by displaying the "we're sorry to see you go" message, my SP account now shows -

    Hi Tharweb. We're sorry to see your electricity go.

    I hope this is a mistake? Are your SP accounts still showing that you are leaving dual fuels? I tried to call Avro, not that I would have got past the "we are only dealing with emergency and vulnerable customers" message, but their phone lines are closed at weekend and I've found that they don't respond to emails very quickly, it took 11 days last time. 

    This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune! :doh:

    The headline message I saw on my Scottish Power account page changed daily from 'sorry to see you go' to 'sorry to see your gas go' to 'sorry to see your electricity go' to 'sorry you're leaving us'. Then one of the older messages would pop up the next day. There really wasn't much logic to the messages at all. My switch to Green went through without a hitch and I now see confirmation that my switch for both fuels has completed with accurate dates when they switched. The industry databases show my supplier as Green for both gas and electricity - that was the case on the day of the switch for electricity, and the day after for gas. I've also had the emails to say my account is transferring to Scottish Power (while it was actually moving to Green).

    Given what has been going on, ie. taking over customers of YE and moving them into its system and at the same time many customers transferring elsewhere it's not surprising that there are mixed messages.

    Well hopefully that's what we're are seeing and it's not that SP have blocked the switch

  • Confirmation from both Zog and Evolve (BG) that my switch has completed.   See what mess up SP can make of my final bill, as everything else they have done on my account has been screwed.

    Just for info, according to a Which! report that I saw published today, Octopus and Pure Planet are their top recommended suppliers (2nd and 4th in rankings) and , interestingly,Outfox the Market coming in at number 1 in customer rankings . Avro was 3rd

    And at the bottom Npower and.......

    surprise surprise SP.


    (although to be honest I don't have a huge lot of faith in Which! reviews and rankings of most things....)

    Shell have just brought out a fix to the end of March 2022, second cheapest on my list.

    When you got your welcome pack from Avro,  did it list your MPAN and MPRN numbers (it was listed for me).  Also the Gas Serial number was listed in this welcome pack.  The only thing not listed in my welcome pack was the electricity serial number.  Not sure what to advise other than to check the welcome pack carefully.

    In that case, I'm just not sure what Avro can be referring to?  What other meter details can there possibly be?  Do these details (esp the gas meter serial number) match up with what you see on your gas meter?  The MPRN looks similar to mine (10 digit number)
