There are two trade associations with regard to PPC's, BPA and IPC. Both have their own appeals service which are basically run by the parking companies so they are not independant. The IAS is the appeals service that is connected to the IPC. Very few appeals are upheld and it operates in favour of the parking companies. It is a total waste of time and a bruising experience. I actually appealed to IAS and that is part of my life that I will never get back.
After many letters and complaints to MP's, Sir Greg Knight bought in a bill to overhaul completely the activities of the PPC's. In the discussions in Parliament regarding the appeals service IAS was described as "putting Dracula in charge of a blood bank".
The bill received total cross party support from the house and eventually became law.
The new CoP (Code of Practice) is now being drawn up and recently a public consultation took place.
There will be a single appeal's service which will be independent from the PPC's. So IAS and POPLA will go.

This is the start of the changes and it is not fully known as to how the new appeals service will be set up but it will be independant from the PPC's.
So to defend the argument as to why you did not appeal with the fact that the IAS appeal service is not independant (this has been stated in Parliament). It is changing to a totally independant service which will should mean that motorists are treated more fairly.

The claim could be dismissed on the landowner authority which was not signed at the time of the event. That is a strong defence point.

When doing the witness statement and referencing to the britannia parking group and chris cosby case approve judgement as used in the example in newbie thread where would i find this case to copy in same format as used in the example. I do want to just copy and paste as it does not show up in the correct format. The example has the whole judgement case exported in but not sure how i go about doing this. Any ideas? How that makes sense0

Don't use it. Use Excel v Wilkinson.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD2 -
Hoiw do you mean, not the right format?
Cant you just reformat it yourself. Please be more explicit
The lack of landowner authority is killer. The authority was not in place, fact, at the date in question1 -
