    Doesn’t bother me. I swipe up & the app closes. If I reopen it I have to log in again so it must log off when I close the app. 

    Doesn't bother me either, I was just remarking.  My Virgin Money current account app doesn't logout either, when I click on logout it does some whirling around and then ends up logging me back in.  I just swipe it away.

    Interesting. I've got both accounts though only the app based one is showing on the app. The passbook one is showing online. 
    Where? I wasn't aware they had an online service other than the App?

    Sorry - got confused!  I've got the passbook, no online presence!  :(

    My passbook arrived yesterday and the sort code is also 20-27-17 and no sticker!

    Almost certainly they've 'just' forgotten to put the stickers on this old batch of passbooks.

    Can one of you feedback on this thread if you make contact please?

    On something tangential, this developing thread really does show the benefit in separating discussion from the fantastic RS thread (especially once closed to new entrants)
    Just rang the tipton and yes the sort code should be 20-27-33 and not 17 as my passbook states.
    Nice lady said some passbooks got sent out without the change.

    Had 2 phone calls - We can confirm sort code is 20-27-33 and not 20-27-17. As previously mentioned a sticker was not put on to cover the wrong sort code. We were thus able to do 15 SO`s this morning starting 1/12/20 to 1/2/22.
    Mine's got the 17 crossed out and 33 written in its place in pen. I guess they ran out of stickers.

    They are very nice and helpful at the Tipton from talking to them on the phone. My issues are all resolved now I hope.
    I just feel sorry for all the work we have put them through just to earn a maximum of £50 interest over 14 months! We would have scoffed at 1.35% interest a year ago on a regular saver - now it is much prized!

    I downloaded it a while back and at that time I could just see the savings accounts on offer and that's all.
    I then requested a pin for the app which was sent a week or more ago and now I have activated the app all I get is,
    'Under maintenance' ring this number.
    I do remember seeing something on the forum about this but can't find it just now.
    I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
    The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
    I listen all night for your step on the stair.

    Do you use IPhone?  If so there is an update available from the App Store which should cure the problem.  It did for me.

    I have the same issue on my iphone - app under maintenance whenever I open it since adding the activation code. 
    I have the latest app version too.
    What to do - if I delete the app and reactivate do I have to start from scratch?  Can I re-register as an existing customer?
  • I have deleted the app and put it back on but as soon as I enter my pin it's just the same, that's on android.
