  • Please could someone advise me about the Tipton app?  For the past couple of days, whenever I key in my 6-digit PIN to enter the app, I always reach a screen which says: "Our System is under Maintenance, will be back shortly".  Are other users of the app also repeatedly seeing that message?  If anyone is actually managing to access the app, how may I also do so?  Thanks in advance for any kind assistance!   This is my only financial app so I've no experience.
    Fingertip authorisation here and it's worked fine ever since installation.
    To clarify - I've only ever installed my app once. I've not refreshed recently.

    Me too.  In fact, I wouldn't know how to go about refreshing.  Please, how is that done?
    The only way I'd know how to do it is to uninstall (delete) and reinstall.

    But I'd wait for others to see if there is a better way.

    If got Android go to the play store and see what apps you have installed on phone and they will tell you if updates are avaialble, depending on your settings when you set up phone they may update automatically anyway.

    I have installed the app update on my new phone and now too get the System Maintenance screen.

    However, on my old android, where I did not update the app, I can access and view my account perfectly.

    Clearly another bug in their app.

    They updated it to allegedly fix the inability to log out of the app.
    🤦‍♂️
    Perhaps they've fixed the inability to log out by preventing people from logging in 🤪

    I've still not had a call back saying the app is fixed so I'm assuming the developers are still developing...(or testing)!

    I applied last Thursday via the app - and made an initial payment in using the account number generated at the end of the application.  
    The app has crashed on me post application - and just asks me to contact them by phone. Not sure how I can enter the activation code on the app when it arrives - but saying that nothing in writing from them either.
    If I don't hear by early next week I may call them. But given they gave me an account no and I paid funds in - which haven't been returned I assume at least my account exists somewhere in their system!



  • I didn’t deposit any money until I received the access code to the app. The account number quoted in the letter was different to the one I had been allocated on opening the account. I used the one from the letter and the funds are showing as received. 
    Save £12k in 2022 #54 reporting for duty
