    That could be it.

Hopefully no domestic knee-jerk reactions overnight as I have 4 courier collections scheduled for tomorrow. 😳

@soolin I went from using Zoom on a tablet to a new budget laptop and it's amazing, so much better!

On topic I got a Christmas card posted from Yorkshire (I'm in Suffolk) today, posted first class on 11 December.

Oh yes, Zoom on a laptop is so much better than on a mobile device. Enjoy!

I had two things arrive today, one 1st class parcel posted on the 19th(!!! I'm extremely impressed!) and an RM48 LL (I think? postage on account so can't be sure) posted on the 14th. Still not bad compared with all the rest of everyone's post, but somewhat less impressive than the 2-day parcel. Not sure where either of them were from.

Surely Govt won't allow domestic mail to be suspended even if its severely delayed because they're relying on RM to deliver home testing kits to people self isolating/suffering from virus and then the labs.
I'm in Greater London which is now tier 4 and I noticed today that there are new priority stickers on a couple of letterboxes notifying of Saturday & Sunday collection. These have gone on since last Wednesday but we've only had a couple of deliveries a week for the last few weeks like in 1st lockdown. So looks like posties are being spread even thinner now!

I’m in London as well and my post has been awful. We ordered something about 10 days ago from a shop we buy from regularly and they said that they are being warned of severe delays to London postcodes and they can’t guarantee their usual 4-5 day delivery . It still hasn’t arrived and we are now like meerkats watching the road for any sign of a post delivery!

Local PO posted on facebook last night that they have been told not to accept mail for EU destinations (except RoI).
I see that SD last date is pulled forward to today, tomorrow is now not guaranteed.

Out of interest, does anyone know how often mail is collected from sub post offices and mailboxes these days (Christmas/otherwise)?

I remember in the old days, mail boxes around here used to have 5 collections on a weekday and two on Saturday (those times were listed on the boxes) with more frequent collections in the run up to Xmas..

As, I'm asking... Is it possible to find out which "priority mailboxes" currently have a Sunday collection and what time that is scheduled for?
