NSD No 1
The Boy took me for my flu jab. Just as well. There was no way I could have got there otherwise in this weather and I am certainly not going anywhere on public transport. Still not sure why I had to go such a distance. I think it might be something with being able to socially distance in this building and, therefore, getting through more patients. The nurse was the one who usually does my asthma and blood pressure checks. She's lovely and I had such a nice chat with her.
Got rid a few frogs. Did Himself's banking. Their new website is a nightmare since they "improved" it. Phoned our friends re the holiday which has to be cancelled and e mailed the lady who rents the property to us. Feeling disappointed about that but that's it done now anyway so one less thing to concern me.
Making soup for dinner out of bits and bobs. Healthy and cheap. The weather seems to be improving slightly so I might get a little bit of a walk before I go to the hairdresser. Might even get started on the cleaning and clear out.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
A lovely chill day today as last day off work. Back tomorrow though
and the next 6 weeks will be very hectic. Will need to head out around 9pm to collect DD from work. Not looking forward to braving the nasty weather. Still I am grateful for a roof over my head, and enough food to eat. Day 2 of my healthy eating and I can already see the benefits in that my blood sugars are coming down. Still elevated but better. Also pleased I was able to cash out £10 from scanning receipts app and paid that straight off Argos. Also spent the afternoon doing surveys. And lastly, figuring out how interest is actually calculated so I know what I will be paying. Since I paid much more than the minimum to Argos this month, the estimated interest should be less. I was pleased to see it should be about £13 less than predicted, if I have my sums right. Right absolutely starving so must eat! Evening all

Good evening!
Ok here is take 2 🎬 of my goals for this month:March to a different beat - My rhythm is definitely slow and steady. I need routine and consistency, and lots of time to myself. I function best when I am well rested and grounded - definitely things to work on.
Alternate spending - 15 NSDs sounds good to me. Today = NSD number 1
Donate – Love the idea of writing letters - I love writing and don't do it enough anymore. Great idea.
Nesting – I love LOVE my little apartment. I am the King of Nesting 👑🏡 haha. Snugged up as I type.
Exercise - Dreading lockdown because the gyms close and I was doing really well. Lost 3kg and toned up. I am going to have to develop a home workout. Ordered some resistance bands. Dumbbells are too expensive so I'll have to do bodyweight stuff. I love dancing... Maybe I will convert my home into a disco 🕺🏻🌐🎶
Spending - Budget is planned and am a month into using YNAB. It is hard getting used to not referring back to my paper (or Word Document) budgets... but I am enjoying it. I have money stashed ahead for all sorts and my aim is to get a month ahead to start with.
Stay strong and true to yourself - This is hard at times - but I am making sure my own health needs are met, and preserving my mental health right now is priority number 1. I need to get back on with my good daily routine (mindfulness, journaling, eat well and meal prep - and an early night).
Phew. Here's to a productive month gang!

Abundant resistance bands are great for a strength workout, there's so much you can do with them!

Today I am grateful for a good day at work, for good relationships with my pupils, for doing some yoga when I got home, for dd enjoying her ballet class (then it's back to z000m for 4 weeks....), for getting nsd #2.

Hey Turtles, just swimming in to set out my stall. Spendy day.
March to a different beat. Yes rhythm – I go through phase of loving this quieter no commuting life, but then I just get frustrated – I think I am slowly coming to terms with the reality of working at home, more than likely til March, if not longer. It really does save a lot of money. But I find it hard to get outside and go for a walk. This I need to do.
Alternate spending - at least 15 NSDs – it might mot be alternate days but I will do 15, I ended up on 16 last month, so I know I can do it.
Donate – I need to have a bit of a sort out, not much to go to charity, but some. Have been thinking about writing letters for a few weeks now. I might try and find some time to do that.
Nesting – it is your house, in the middle of your street. J Cute. So last month I got my workspace out of the living room and into the hall. It is much better. I would like some twinkly lights. I might have a look at the Christmas ones – my Darling GF bought some and put them up in her room yesterday, it was lovely last night.
Exercise So , paid for yoga and meditation for the week. I really do need to get outside though!
Spending. I get paid on Wednesday, but the budget is done, I need to pillage from the 1% off the debt total to pay for the December day – I am planning on properly planning for that next Monday ? Tuesday, I have a long weekend coming - phew. simplify Yes, yes, and yes.
Stay strong and true to yourself one day at a time…love this standing tall, and staying strong is needed.
