Tomorrow is another month and a new set of challenges. I have to admit that I am struggling a bit now but we just have to get on with it so:
March to a different beat. I have to accept things for what they are and adapt. No point in worrying - easier said than done, in my case. The Boy does not call me Stressball (in a kindly way, of course) for no reason. Get back my sense of humour would be a start.
Alternate spending - I think I can do this
Donate – Monthly direct debits set up for our favourite charities. Lots of people needing help. Just a smile or an offer to do something to might make things easier for someone. I'm a naturally shy person but I'll make an effort to do just one little thing every day.
Nesting –Oh yes. I really need to do this.
Exercise - Been doing absolutely nothing and it's showing on the waistline. Must, must, must start walking.
Spending - Getting a little bit out of control because of boredom. Been buying things I can afford but in all honesty don't really need. Must address that.
Stay strong and true to yourself one day at a time, no matter what happens, no matter what anyone else says, no matter how they act. Everything ends at some point. - So absolutely true.
OK. So I can do this, Yes, I can.
March to a
different beat.– Will be trying to get through the month as best as I can.
- Going to aim for 20 NSD’s.
Donate – Will
be making a donation to a charity, do voluntary work at a f/b when possible.
Nesting – Will
try and keep up to date with keeping areas tidy.
- Will plan to go out for as many walks as possible this
month. Do have an exercise dvd which I can
pick routine and length of time.
Spending. - Budgets
for each categories have been set.
and true to yourself one day at a time, no matter what happens, no matter what
anyone else says, no matter how they act. Everything ends at some point. Good
times AND bad. So persevere through the hard times knowing they will be over
and you will get through them, and be present to enjoy the good times with as
much gratitude as possible. Control what you can (your behaviours and
thoughts), cope with what you can't (the behaviours of others), command your
morning, conquer the chaos, and concentrate on what counts. Never give up on
what is right for YOU. - Will definitely be looking into what I can do
and what needs work on.
For me today is the start of my new year so happy new year turtles!!! 🎉
March to a different beat. - this one is the biggest part of the challenge for me - I've quit smoking and given up alcohol for the month! 🙈 Fingers crossed that i make it 😉
Alternate spending - at least 15 NSDs My new annual budget starts today so this one shouldn't be too difficult - I hate shopping anyway and without fags and brandy to buy I have no real reason to venture out! I'll aim for 20 days 😊
Donate – I have a bag of clothes lurking in my office which my sister gave to me to give to my dd - they weren’t right for her so need to go to the cs...I need to do that this week! I also donate monthly to my fave charity 😊
Nesting – I love my house! Last night we had a fire and it reminded me of how much I love being where I am 😍 I need to get the garden sorted (had lots of plans for yesterday but ended up working instead) so will spend some time on that today.
Exercise to your level and enjoy yourself. Gardening and walking will be my excercise - I need to do more of both!! 😂
Spending. New annual budget for me so I've been very realistic with it but I have covered everything that I can think of! I really want to eliminate unnecessary spends this year. I've cancelled my prime account which will have a big impact and I'm eating out of the freezer and stores as much as possible 😉
Stay strong and true to yourself - this one is so needed with the quitting of alcohol and nicotine! I'm going to be posting more often to keep myself accountable!! 😉
Good luck everyone!! 🙌
