You are a year out of date on the horrific graph:
https://www.rac.co.uk/drive/news/motoring-news/private-parking-firms-issue-15-new-tickets-every-minute-research-reveals/#:~:text=A total of 8.4 million,£100 for alleged infringements.
It's actually near to 10 million PCNs issued last year, because they sought DVLA data in 8.4 million cases and you can then add the windscreen PCNs that victims paid (or appealed) on top. Takes it to an estimated TEN MILLION. Absolutely shameful. There are about 34 million cars and small vans registered, so in any year, an average driver has a one in three or one in 4 chance of being caught/scammed by this industry.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

WOW! That's terrible? The concern is, having sent the appeal using the drop down box on their web site, there is no confirmation they have received it? Looking at the PCN summary, it shows all details except that appeal has not been received? What's more we have no evidence that we've sent it. What a bloody nightmare? Sorry for more comment.0

So send it again and see what the bloody site says?
seems obvious. You e got a copy of the appeal saved of course, because you always make sure you keep a copy, always...2 -
Thank you nosferatu1001. I did as you said and this time I have confirmation it's been received.

Just looked at CEL web site and after logging in we can cheerfully say that "This Enforcement Notice has been cancelled" Well that's a big relief! We want to say a big thank you to everyone that helped us with this issue!4

Great news, well done. 🥂. Have a great weekend. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
