You can request it.
The PPC will say no
The MA will probably say no
You know this, because youve read dozens of threads...2 -
Personally, i would ask the MA and the PPC for it. The MA would be on dodgy ground ifthey refused imo.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Will do thanks.D_P_Dance said:Personally, i would ask the MA and the PPC for it. The MA would be on dodgy ground ifthey refused imo.
Got that along with with the fact that permit was displayed, and no requirement to do so per my lease.
I'll see if anyone else has any other grounds for appeal as my appeal to their likely rejection will have to go via IAS rather than POPLA who might otherwise entertain the finer legal points.0 -
An IAS appeal is risky as only about 5% of appeals are ever allowed. If you do decide to try it after your initial appeal has been rejected, then first make sure you use the free appeal service, not the paid for version where the decision is binding on the motorist.
Also follow precisely the appeal process providing evidence at every stage.
However, you are a long way from that yet.
Complain again to the landowner and MA, using the scammer's images compared with yours that show where the permit was actually placed.
I stress again, also make the complaints to the scammers, the IPC, and the DVLA, showing your evidence that the pictures were taken to deliberately omit the part of the dashboard where the permit was actually displayed. This is a clear attempt at deceit and an attempt to obtain monies by deception. The landowner/MA or whoever employed the scammers is jointly liable for this deception.
If all else fails, then make the initial appeal to the scammers. It would not hurt to show your images and theirs together.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Well I have 11 days to get in at the reduced fee and I'm not hopeful of getting a response from anyone other than the PPC in that time. Maybe the MA in their 5 day window.
And the IPC aren't their to represent the victims.
Which would be the appropriate department in the DVLA? I would imagine an email to PPC, MA, IPC and DVLA would highlight their wrongdoing and my appetite to resist. Do you have email addresses? I can't even find generic ones.0 -
Well I have 11 days to get in at the reduced fee ...
Why on earth mention a reduced fee. Are you not a leaseholder? You have property rights, they are parasites, Have you not understood the situation? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1 -
Well I don't want to pay 60 or 100 pounds but if it comes down to it I've saved 40 by lodging the appeal to the PPC by Saturday weekD_P_Dance said:Well I have 11 days to get in at the reduced fee ...

Also the matter of it being a visitor's permit as arguably I am exercising my right to park by way of the residents' permit still attached to the vehicle I am selling.0 -

That's what I'm going for. Either way if I contact MA, IPC and PPC this week I should get responses back before the 14 days.Le_Kirk said:

DVLA is the only contact I'm struggling with.
