Welcome to the world of scam

Of course DCBL are scamming you and they have added a fake amount.  YOU DO NOT OWE £310

See what happens to dodgy legals who had on fake amounts

A letter of claim requires an answer from you.   You reply by asking for a breakdown of the claim and deny any debt.     Let us know what they say.

Assume the parking ticket was £100

PS:   DCBL will have included forms to complete ...... THAT'S A NO NO ... Nobody gives such information to scammers

  • This is the email I got back from DCBL today. But I didn’t ask for a breakdown of the amount. Shall I go back and ask???? Thank you.

Unusual as there are two claimants
No way they can raise that as a single claim

Can't be for two different parking firms.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Dcb legal have come back to me and the original parking charge by highview was £85.00 after sending a reminder it went up to £125.00 which was to an address I no longer lived at so didn’t receive this. Which brings both parking charges to £250 so the remaining charge of £60 must be coming from dcb legal. From other threads I’ve read am I right in saying they are not allowed to add this extra charge?

They can add it , doesn't mean it will be allowed , because the extra £60 is double recovery so should be thrown out

They can add whatever they like , the judge will decide what is lawful or allowed

These extra charges get thrown out all the time

If the original PCN was for £85 , then it stays at £85 for each PCN issued , so £170 for two
