I like to cook "fresh" most days and don`t enjoy eating the same daily, I freeze left overs , curry, ragu, stews, I cooked a swede the other day, stored in my fridge and will have to eat a portion today, so planning swede mash with belly pork and steamed cabbage.
Will put the left over portion of swede in the freezer, to join the others.
Do I need it or just want it.

@juicyjackieb that looks lovely! Be interested to know the recipe for your doughnuts too. I do a lot of batch cooking too and most meals during the week are from the freezer that I have cooked ahead.

I am retired so have the time to cook daily, I try to menu plan to use up what fresh foods I have in stock, today sausage casserole type thing with roasted dijon cabbage wedges, I will use some y.s. heck spicy sausages, not a fan of heck, prefer L1d1/A1dl cumberlands, but in a casserole with plenty of spices should be good.
