Watched some videos of Tom Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black cooking and though he doesn't say that he does low carb, all the videos/recipes I've seen so far, are. So I lashed out 2.54 on Amazon for his book To's Daily Plan. There's 80 recipes in it, so may be mamy more useful recipes.
  • Candygirl sometimes nothing really appeaIs I had that for a few days too, cheesy garlic mushrooms sounds lovely though!

Decided to make more effort tonight had harissa spiced meatballs in tomato sauce with califlower rice, family had normal rice was delicious.

Where I am struggling is lunch ideas, don't eat breakfast, what do you all have for lunch that is quick but satisfying?

lunch ideas....salads, omlettes, lettuce wraps, a crustless quiche will last a few days.   eggs and bacon, lowcarb crackers and cheese,  coronation chicken,  egg mayo,  leftovers from night before

sure the others will have more ideas

@Edgeoftheburn I’m mostly OMAD, but if I do get hungry I grab a slice of ham, rolled up in an Edam slice, I always keep cooked, good quality chipolatas in the fridge, HM scotch eggs wrapped in bacon not crumbed, M&S super seed crackers are great with a little cheese too.

We normally get a takeaway on a Friday, but we are actually going out out with friends tomorrow night, so I’ll make steak and halloumi fries tonight 🤩

  • Thank you both for the great ideas! I think the secret you both have shared is more organisation and thinking ahead is needed. I always meal plan evening meals but not lunches so have to up my planning. All your suggestions are going in rotation for the next few weeks. Must venture to M&S to find these seed crackers too.

We had takeaway tonight as it's payday and we are now on two weeks holiday, double celebration 🥳
  • Last night was hot dog and garlic mushrooms as we needed a super quick post swim dinner. Tonight was creamy parmesan prawns with cauli rice for me and spaghetti for the others.

  • Harissa roast chicken with roast cabbage rounds. Love the cabbage when it is charred and crispy.

Will have ribs and salad tonight
  • School uniform shopping today, as I was in Marks bought their seed crackers, really looking forward to trying them tomorrow.

Had salmon burgers, guacamole and lettuce for tonight's dinner. Made chicken korma with cauli rice last night. Had a couple of popadoms too as they are fairly low.
