Chicken looks delicious, and my mouth watering at all the cheeses.
We had salmon last night with a cauli and broccoli bake, tonight a , forgive my spelling, ratattouile with gammon, tomorrow it`s steak with various roast veg, she did pass the comment that she was not so bloated, and although I have encouraged her to have some potatoes, we are of the generation that eats potatoes wih every main meal, she says not missing them at all.

The  chicken looks delicious oh and the cheese too. Roast quarter chicken with vegetables was what I had for dinner. Roasted in the air fryer.

Had my second jab today and between that and getting carried away in the garden meant I forgot to take meat out the freezer to make curry. So we ordered a takeaway I had tandoori chicken on the bone and saag panneer. Was delicious and hope it doesn't knock me back too far.

    Think so too,
steak with roasted celeriac and swede chunks today for lunch, she did have 3 small new potatoes roasted in with the other veg, but she not snacking on biscuits and we had a chicken salad roll for tea tonight, l.c for me, gluten free for her, she would normally have a packet of crisps with it, but she didn`t.

Just saw StronG Roots do cauliflower hash browns, I thought they might be worth trying for something different.

Went and read the carb count 😮 17 per portion, checked the ingredients 42% cauli, then potato and potato flakes 😡🙄.

This is why I rarely  have ‘convenience’ foods

  • £1 meal prep definitely a success, looks amazing too, and even more so compared to any £1 ready meal bought.

Shykins you do absolutely have to check every label even those that have keto wording on them sometimes they are too high too, really frustrating when you get that excitement for something new.

A real turnaround Pamsdish, sounds like the little changes are adding up.

Last night we had bulgogi burgers, daughters friends invention and absolutely delicious they will be a regular from now on. Had them with BBQ courgette that had been marinated in lime and olive oil.

The scales this morning had a pleasing 4lb loss too.

I am planning sausage with sweetheart cabbage, love this steamed with carraway seeds, and a portion of celeriac dauphinoise I had frozen today, have a pork tenderloin defrosting for tomorrow.
