Problems with Jaja.

Hi fellow JaJa captives, I too am a reluctant Post Office credit card customer who has been sold to JaJa. Looking at the posts on here and on the Google app store feedback for the JaJa app I can see that I am not the only customer who is angry, frustrated and annoyed with trying to deal with this company. I have encountered the the same problems with registration and accessing my online account as many of you, fortunately I don't rely on this card for day to day activities but for me trust in this company is pretty non existent.
I don't want to go into a diatribe on here about my frustration with this company however if Martin Lewis could mention them on his TV show and maybe name and shame them, that mightn't be a bad thing.
Good luck everyone, you're not alone (unfortunately).1 -
I was a Post Office Mastercard customer who recently found out my Post Office Mastercard had been replaced by a Jaja Visa Credit Card. As a result of the pandemic I was awaiting some flight cancellation refunds to be credited back to my credit card amounting to £3000.I downloaded the Jaja App and can see my that my Jaja credit card is in credit as a result of refunds from the Airlines concerned. I can see the actual refund credit dates, some of which are now 21 days old. I have contacted Jaja Customer Services on 4 occasions now to request my credit card credit of £3000 to be transferred to my Bank Account. Jaja deny the refunds have been credited to my Jaja Credit Card despite me informing them they are displayed on the App. I made a complaint which has not been responded to and telephone calls have last up to 50 mins. On each occasion I'm was put hold and matter not resolved. On each occasion I had to telephone 2 different customer service numbers. At this stage I have waited months already for these refunds from Airlines. It's frustrating that now Jaja deny receiving the refunds despite me seeing them on the Jaja App. I have made complaint to FOS.0

This is a dreadful company...they totally abused my partner on telephone when he forgot a question, he is 65 and vulnerable...they have an amount on card which was cancelled on 28th November...20 minutes to Customer Dis service who gave another number for chargeback...30 minutes later and no answer , can't register as it refuses everything...so not paying this bill and they can start court proceedings as this is a joke...only intended to use card for deposit as they were so rude on telephone...certainly will not use again. never had an issue with bank of ireland but this is apparently run by HSBC...can you advise on where to complain to please?

Useless app says can use new card or old card to register it when I try it says it doesn't recognise my details. Just spent 20mins on hold to get to a human who tells me I can only register with the card that's currently active. So not the Jaja one as I've only just recieved it in post. Totally contradictory to what it says on the information button in the app where it says can use either. Not dug my old card out to try that yet but don't hold out any faith reading the issues others had here. I think I might just cut the card up and re-apply for a new Post Office one with Capital One.0

It's got nothing to do with HSBC, JaJa are their own company. You need to complain to them (https://jaja.co.uk/complaints/) then if they don't respond/resolve it you can use the Financial Ombudsman.0 -
I also was a Post Office Credit Card holder, their website worked without a hitch for many years. Since transferring to JaJa I have been unable to register with their website despite many attempts. I can go through the whole process apart from the last step which comes after you get a code from them to your mobile - Tick. then you enter a password and 5 digit code, which is accepted- Tick, click on Continue to complete the registration and get the following - "This service is currently unavailable. Please try again later" Grrr!!
I have called their customer service line several times and the service agent has expressed surprise that this is happening, but is unable to help! "have you tried a different browser?" Yes, at least three! Now at my wits end, may ditch this card if I can't register. It doesn't help when you are holding on the line they tell you how it would be so much easier if you went online and visited their website, where you can check your balance, make a payment and have all your account queries answered without having to wait in line for an operative to answer..........

Sadly my wife and I have Post Office cards that were taken over by JaJa and have not been able to log in and see our statements ever since. Three months of calling and getting excuses and 'chatting' to someone online has achieved nothing and we are still unable to access our statements. The cards are still useable but we have no idea of the balance until it's debited from our banks.
Needless to say we are now in the process off applying for other cards.
