Problems with Jaja.

You need to enter your card name exactly as it appears - it's case sensitive so enter your name as full caps.
I signed up, same thing, called waiting 15 minutes and the advisor couldn't really help so had to figure it out myself.
The migration really has been a total shambles, and considering they are a tech company, you'd expect better. Can't expect them being around long, taking on all this debt draining investor money and not having a sufficient product and service.0 -
That unfortunately doesnt work! After settling down with a flask of coffee, Ive managed to talk to JaJa 4 times (shortest wait 37 minutes) since Sunday - Ive tried everything theyve suggested plus other things, but as all they are asking for is: name on the card as it appears, expiry date on the card, D.O.B. and Mobile No ( twice checked with them that the number I have is accurate) and 3 named numbers from the long number on the card, there isnt much that I can get wrong! On the last ocassion the Customer Services agent advised it wasnt a problem at the Customer end it was entirely a software problem at that end, which they were working frantically to resolve, and to keep trying! I would have thought they would be best just removing the current offerings from the various App stores and only making them available again once they have a fix. Who in this day and age does a major swop over like this whilst deleting the option to access your original account until the swop is completed! Why on earth didnt they just send out JaJa cards to each PostOffice CC account holder and do the migration themselves? Ive always been eminently satisfied with the PO card - easy to use and access, and Im relatively unaffected by this debacle as I have a DD set up on the account to pay off the balance, but not being able to view the account is frustrating. Martin Lewis/MSE could well comment on the situation!1

I managed to sign up for an account, but all recent transactions since the switch were missing, and only appeared late yesterday. Not a great sign.Plus, the app and website are less functiontional than the old PO money one. They have removed what is an essential feature for me - the ability to download transactions as quif or CSV for import into my personal finance software. I am not impressed.0

Fortunately, having a few other credit cards, I took the step of not using my PO Card this last few months and leaving a zero balance, just in case there were problems with the changeover. It was perhaps a good move with hindsight.
Although I could download the app and register without issue, it had totally transposed my address in the 'personal details' part of the app. I tired to correct this (big mistake) and all I received was a message asking me to contact them by phone.
I rang them (55 mins wait) and was told there were problems with the app and to 'just leave it' and try again the following day.
The following day I tired to ring them again but gave up after twice being over an hour on hold.
The odd thnig is that in the web browser Jaja site, my address is correct, so I think I will just leave it.
I haven't tried using the card and probably won't until such time as I receive my proper Jaja Visa CC.
Using the PO card currently just sounds like a receipe for disaster at the moment.

I have a Post Office card, and don't have a mobile phone (other than an old Nokia 100!).
Any idea how I might register?0 -
UPDATE:I followed my own advice and low and behold they have unlocked my registration process. I was online on a laptop so had quick access to my phone and the code they sent. Everything after that went expremely smoothly and I can see my account and transactions both online and in the Android App on my phone. An end to 3 frustrating days! Will still check if there are better cards for holidays - plenty of time for that at present!PREVIOUSLY:Like others I am completely stuck re access to the app. When trying to register they sent a code to my phone to be entered within 2 minutes. It did not arrive on time and the same thing happened again but of course I put in the code they sent the first time. Needless to say I eventually got locked out and can only move forward by phoning them. Gave that up at 30+ mins on 3 attempts. The PO card worked great when run by B of I but this is just a complete shambles. Apart from the annoying music when on hold we are told we can probably find the answer we want on the app - if only I was registered. Imagine a company which boasts that it will be entirely online and I can only phone on a number which is inadequately manned.Would recommend anyone not yet registered to apply online on a web page so that you have immediate access to your code when they send it to your phone.I don't see a great future with JaJa and will look at other cards for going on holiday. I note that the Post Office are offering cards still but run by a different company/bank.1

For anyone still struggling with Jaja's abysmally broken Registration Process, when it says you have to enter the details exactly as on the card, they do mean EXACTLY! What Jaja has failed to make clear is that you need to include your 'Title' so if your Post Office Card says 'Mr John Smith' your Name as far as Jaja's IT is concerned is 'Mr John Smith' not just 'John Smith'. I found this out from Jaja's Twitter account after much hair-pulling and grimacing when I repeatedly failed to register using simply my Given Name and Family Name, which is the usual convention.Having finally been successful in registering my card I shall be cancelling it as soon as the latest transactions appear on and are subsequenrtly cleared from the balance. I was going to cancel anyway as I had my concerns about the long-term financial stability of a new 'challenger bank' in difficult times (see Monzo, Revolut etc. financial results), but I have abslutely no faith in a Fintech that gets it's IT so shabbily, cackhandededly wrong as to cripple the user experience from the start (I'm old enough to remember the colossal failure that was fashion retailer Boo.com - Javascript, Flash and resource-heavy graphical content in the time of dial-up, Pentiums and 64Mb RAM!).0

Having been a Post Office/BoI CC customer in the past, I suspect a lot of the IT issues are down to their records/systems- their IT platform was outdated and that was years ago.
The good news is that Jaja are backed by some very big players with deep pockets including KKR and Centerbridge Partners.
