It was the first thing I spotted when I came back. Printed already!

Finish my teaching practice tomorrow, so to celebrate I've taken out of the freezer the last portion of bolognese sauce for tomorrow's supper. Course officially finishes on Friday and instead of going to the pub, we're all taking in bottles of fizzy pop and crisps as we're all skint now! How moneysaving is that?Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0

A busy day at work .. trying to fit OS in the few hours between working and sleeping :rolleyes:
I've made my own yoghurt (see Bel Yoghurt Maker thread) ... thanks to Apprentice Tycoon. Home made liver & onions for tea tonight with potatoes and cabbage. Yogurt for dessert of course
Waiting for OH and eldest daughter to come home as tonight is Ginger Beer bottling night and it is a lot easier if two of use do this.
Nearly fell off sofa earlier this evening when OH said he is going to make a lemon merangue pie this weekend now that I've got a Be-Ro Cookbook. Other half generally does those OS things that are connected to equipment (breadmaker, winemaking kit, bottling).Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -
Not much OS today I'm afraid. Have been at work all day filling out forms! Never mind, just thought I'd log on and say howdy.
. Have decided to brave the trains and take my DS (nearly 2) to my MIL's in Birmingham for a few days. Not looking forward to the stairs in New Street Station though.
I'm trying to get myself prepared for my driving test on Friday. Please don't laugh, but this will be my 4th attempt in 4 months. As my OH says, its time I started drving Betsy the Banger (a blue ford escort estate)!
LOL Powie69A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.:D0 -
Applemint: Strewth! Have you been putting something in his tea?
Powie 69: Well you're one up on me I'm on my second attempt to learn with no driving tests taken - first time i was very young and, quite frankly, got bored with the whole process...... well, spending my money on dressing as a new romantic was sooooo much more fun! :rotfl:But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -

Who mentioned A&E? I've just spent 2 hours up there with DS1 who tried to bounce off his head in the bottom of the burn AGAIN! It's got so bad now that the nurses greet me by name. It's exactly 10 days since we were there the last time he did it, think I ought to hide his bike for a few weeks. He managed to actually break the skin this time (wonder if I can get compensation from him when he's 18 for all the stress he causes
)

Had a busy day today, farmers market this morning for veg & real eggs (laid yesterday apparently), back home for lunch then off to home education group this afternoon.
Cooked Lidl gammon joint in pressure cooker - only takes 30 mins.
Meeting at church this evening, but back in time to watch the fireworks in Portsmouth. Very impressive!
It's now started a thunderstorm after the glorious sunshine we have had all day.0
