homemade lemon squash
1oz citric acid (from chemists)
4 lemons

put sugar and citric acid in large bowl and add pint of boiling water, stir to disolve.
cut lemons in half and with a fork squeeze out juice pips 'n all into bowl
chuck in lemon skins too!

Crikey! I haven't ben on here in ages. My new job is a bit more demanding than the last one.
Not been very OS of late, but made a real effort on Sunday to plan this week's meals & avoid the need for all those unnecessary trips to the supermarket.
OH is working late tonight & tomorrow, so I've made myself enough dinner for both nights, as well as whipping up a batch of chocolate buns (recipe on the recipe board thread - easiest chocolate cake you'll ever make). While the buns were in the oven I gave the hob a once over with my vinegar spray bottle.
I was planning to take up the hems on some new trousers tonight, but they're too big & will have to go back (label on hanger said 14, are actually 16 & I can take them off without even undoing them). So instead I'm going to read my new magazine that came through the door yesterday (Yes - 3 for a £1!)0 -
doughnut recipe is now posted squeaky:j0
