    :j good morning......

i have not had much time for OS stuff today as I have been in Casualty - I have broken my foot (again) - well it's been a while since I visited A&E so I thought I would see what the new extension is like :rotfl:
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

queenie, totally agree with you about best part of day! i get up at 5-5.30 most mornings...cup of tea, check emails, put loaf in breadmaker, get a wash on etc before the kids are even up...that way im happy when they come downstairs rather than being a bit grumpy when they descend on me when ive just opened my eyes lol :D

    Morning all,
Beautiful day here so I intend to make the best of it. I'm going to clean the windows outside, I'm too mean to pay a window cleaner and we live in a bungalow so it's not too bad with my long handled thingy and trusty vinegar. I may then do some ironing outside while listening to Wimbledon on the radio. Not much cooking today apart from a rhubarb crumble, I have to go to the Drs at teatime so I shall then make MRW's favourite OS meal, egg and oven chips.
Have a nice day and hope the weather improves. Hugs to anyone feeling bad.

Hello everyone. It's lovely and sunny in Herts at the mo' - but the forecast isn't good. Usually I do one lot of washing on Monday and one lot on Tuesday, then that's it for the week (there's only two of us). Did them both on Monday this week due to poor forecast and impending holiday, so everything is ready to pack.
The catering went a bit awry this week, which means I have a defrosted but uncooked beef joint in the fridge. Think I'll pop it in the slow cooker later on then slice it up and freeze it.
Otherwise, no real plans for the day yet, I'll just see what develops over a cup of redbush tea.

no i have hobbled into work - as I work at a GPs at least the drugs cabinet is on hand :rotfl: . BUT I have not much to do and am feeling a little spaced out. Went walking on the meadows behind our house last night and well bascially managed to kick myself whilst wearing heavy shoes........ and not even a beer in sight :D I am a bit accident prone as regards my feet. I Broke the other foot on the 2nd day of my honeymoon when I went down a mine - when I said I was going down a mine in the USA a couple of years ago the medics at the hospital I worked at went and got some crutches from Casualty for me to take with me!!!! they thought it was sooooo funny ....
