    morning

I thought last night wasn't too bad. Made FD card. Bought FD present - he really wanted a specific CD - unfortunately my skills don't extend that far :rotfl: At least I got a good deal on it.

Went to sainsbury's (wasn't really meant to but felt in need of a baked potato for dinner) took the opportunity in the evening to make enough chilli for 7 meals - total cost £3 (was actually rather impressed with myself :) )

Cleaned the flat as away all weekend. EMpties fridge and took remaining fruit, yoghart and extras to work for lunch, and fobbed my spare milk and bread onto an unsuspecting colleague!

tonight my parents feed me......yummmy. No housework for 3 days.......oohhhhhh that sounds great!

4 loads of washing done and out, 2 banana/nutty/raisin loafs made, 3 lots of pizza dough done.

Taking 5 mins out before I attack the dishwasher and give the floor a quick going over then i've just enough time to nip to the school before the in-laws arrive for the weekend.

They its just the simple case of entertaining, cooking, cleaning, washing in, bath kids, hair washes, homework etc before bed.

It's a shame the pay's so lousy!!

    Not sure yet.......
I've got some tandoori chicken legs in the freezer & dh likes them cold, so might chuck a couple in the oven for him.
There's some salad in the fridge that needs eating, so will prob fill a big plastic box full of that.
And I've got some part baked baguettes that have been in the cupboard far too long, so might dig them out too - maybe with some pate??
A visit to my veg man for some cherries or strawberries will finish it off nicely.

Curtains are dried and in basket ready to take upstairs (need to find somewhere to store them though) towels, teatowels and bathmats are out on the washing line.

DD is watching her second film of the day () and we've just had salad for lunch. Already got tea planned - cod with pesto sauce served with salad. I need to do another batch of dishes (how do 3 people make so many ), make some ice-lollies, bake a batch of bread for tomorrow night tea and get some spinach&orange soup out the freezer as well. Mustn't forget the lentil bolognese for me (I don't like the soup) out of the freezer.

I think I might make some flapjacks as well. I want to get some more baking done other than scones in the freezer - will have to see how warm the kitchen is before I decide how much I will do :rotfl:

    Hi there
We have now put a deposit down on the car- we got a 5 door version for the same price as the 3 door and although the garage wouldn't budge on the price they did agree to pay the road tax and for an additional year's AA ***** service. I made elderflower cordial last night following the recipe from River Cottage. Tonight we're having a bitsa tea- basically bitsa this and bitsa that. I've had a rummage in the freezer and defrosted all sorts of unrecognisable stuff so who knows what we'll end up!! I will also decorate the sponge I made last night when I get home. Have managed to get two lots of washing out on the line to dry. Tomorrow is my 6 weekly trip down to Lidl
    Regards
