You'll probably find that it's only the display that has failed and that your usage will be downloaded via its optical port before it is replaced with the new meter.

Maybe if it weer BG I would expect that to maybe occur. SP though, lucky if the guy turns up on the right day! Probably will shove the meter in your bin to save on disposal costs (well maybe not that one, but I doubt they will bother to retrieve the reads even if possible, I expect the bare minimum from SP!),

I was told in the online chat that they would replace the meter on 6th Oct but no confirmation email has been received yet !
They don't appear to be very good.

I've never had any serious issues with SP
I have been with them for around 15 years
They pay my Warm Homes payment every year and bill me, almost correctly - at the moment £30 per month
    Why change ?

Do you ever compare with other energy providers as to obtaining a less expensive tariff?

Or are you on a really good cheap deal with SP?

Not a lot, maybe twenty pounds but definitely ask for it....also check their customer gaurantees, sometimes if they don’t pay the money of their own volition then you are due another separate payment.

Appears to be £30 for a missed appointment for a faulty credit meter.

    “How compensation payments are made
Guaranteed Standards compensation payments are made to you automatically by applying a credit to your bank account or by cheque – you do not need to apply to receive it. Also, if we are aware of a failure and have not paid you compensation within 10 working days of it, we will pay you an additional £30.”

id wait for the ten working days to be up before I contacted them and cheque your online account  at that point.

Thanks - they are extremely unlikely to offer me £30 off their own volition
I will leave it until Friday and make it £60
