rung them again and surprise surprise - nothing on my record

This time this guy was adamant that i should accept his offer - which was £35 per month 11 month free via cashback.

I said i wanted to leave and need the DNR. He kept me on hold for 22 minutes... no kidding, 22 minutes i waited for him to come back with the DNR...

So i'll write in tomorrow with the DNR and will send Special Next day delivery.

The DNR i got is 9 digit code starting with 139. Can someone confirm this?

It could also be a 12 month contract. In fact I think it is a 12 month contract because I was once offered this and so have many others on here.

The offer they made to me was 13 months free on an 18 month contract (unless they have become even more generous offering a month extra beyond the 12 month contract ).

On a 12 month contract? With or without phone? It could be a good deal given the cashback deals have dried up at the moment (though should hopefully be back shortly!).

My 11 months is up and I should be requesting my PAC, but due to the way they billed, I don't get my 12th bill (as you pay in advance for line rental) until next week sometime - therefore cannot risk getting the PAC before I get the bill generated for my cashback claim as I assume that this might affect it?

Also moving house shortly so I think it best to leave the address (and rely on Royal Mail forwarding service) to avoid any potential problems.

I'm in the same boat. I'm not sure whether to wait till the 23rd when my bill is generated or just send my letter off tomorrow. Of cause if i wait till the 23rd - it would mean paying for a part month as my contract expires on 8th Feb.

Not necessarily (though with reports on this forum, it is possible!). If you can find a deal elsewhere then it takes 7 days to process PAC ... though that does not allow for CPW's dubious approach to issueing your PAC.

Then again, 11 months free on a 12 month contract, albeit with no phone, is better than they or the other retailers are offering so far this month (before you reply, I know, I hate paying anything as well as I have had four years at £0 or thereabouts!).

I'm tempted to go for the 11 month free BUT will wait for my 12th bill first - so i can claim my final cheque with no issues.

Once i get this 12th bill on the 23rd - I'll give them a ring and see if the offer is till available.

Anyone know how long the DNR is valid for?

After reading all the posts in this thread, I decided to give them a ring and cancel the upgrade I have agreed yesterday and also request for a DRN to leave.....

However, my tarrif has already been changed to the upgrade one overnight, not sure if it will have enough time to change it back as I still need the next bill to get my final cashback claim.

if you upgraded for another 12 months then you have 7 days to cancel - they should have stated this to you over the phone as its a legal requirement.

YUS786 - are you sure its not your 13th bill you need to give in? they ask for the "airtime" bill. the 12th bill you get shows the 12th line rental payment and the 11 airtime bill.
last year i had a contract with three via cpw and it was my 13th bill i sent for final cashback.

I've called CPW O2 five times today in order to cancel the upgrade I made yesterday. They keep trying to tell me that I will be able to claim my final cashback with OSPS even that my tariff have been changed. However, when I rang OSPS cashback department to confirm with this I heard a different story.
Finally one of the CPW staff said he has already cancelled the upgrade for me. I rang up 3 hours later, another staff say there is no record at all for the cancellation, and he put me on hold for 20 mins and tell me that the person who did the upgrade for me yesterday is not available so that he can't cancel it for me. What a ridiculaous reason! I have reserved a whole afternoon to battle with them tmr.

I have also been working on the basis that it is bill 12 (otherwise you would have to pay for 13 months line rental on a 12 month deal).
