Send a letter giving 30 days notice to the Southampton address. Don't bother calling them at all. Seems fairly idiot-proof to me!0

Dont you need their cancellation code though?A dAy WiThOuT wInE iS lIkE a DaY wItHoUt SuNsHiNe0

Only if you believe a word they say. Otherwise no you don't!0

If you want that code it involves a long phone call when they will try and talk you out of cancelling.
But if all you want is out, follow mobilejunkie's advice, as at the end of the long and frustrating call with them, you will still have to write the letter! (Use recorded delivery).0 -
CPW are giving misleading info. yesterday was the 34th day before my 12 months term is over. I called them to terminate my contract. But the CS told me to call today..i.e. 15 Dec. When I called the CS said its too early.. I should call on 17th december to get the DRN and address to send the letter. When I challenged him and asked his name and warned him he immediately gave me the DRN and address.. anyway the address he gave me is:
Disconnections REF 1006
PO 345 Unit 19 Southampton SO30 2NR
Can anyone confirm if this is correct?
and still the same address:beer:
never knew a worse company than carphone warehouse.
different addresses for every single thing. even e-mail ones.
at least others are not that blunt when trying to rip off0 -
tell u what carphone/e2save are a joke. worst ive been with. i phoned them up couple of times about my contract ending. gave me rubbish deals. had so much trouble with them. i got cancellation ref, and gave me 1 portal way address. is this correct.0

Then it has changed. Until recently it was Southampton and you don't need a disconnection code whatever this bunch of absolute liars may tell you.0

Sorry, you're right and I'm wrong here. It is, as you say, Southampton.0 -
Hi guys,
I also experienced problems with CPW. I've just approached the end of my 12 month contract with O2 via CPW, and then decided to get an upgrade, i.e., Blackberry Curve. I've negociated nicely the new contract and got the handset at home. I have inserted the old sim card into the phone, and realized the phone is faulty. I've tried to update the firmware and it was faulty. So after 1 day I decide to return the handset and also to cancel the upgrade (the contract). CPW told me they can replace the phone, but CAN NOT cancel the contract since I HAVE USED THE PHONE. Is that what they call "USE"? Just holding in my hand without using its functionalities? What can I do now to cancel it? What would you advice me?
Thank you so much for your help.
