We always assume people who have started a thread have read NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST, first, and that when we give clear advice that newbies will then follow it. 

We know what we are doing and the keeper could have had this cancelled already, had they done this at the time!

I had an email from park jockey this morning

Thank you for contacting us.
We have sent a cancellation request for this penalty charge.  This can take up to 2 weeks to process.  In the meantime please ignore this charge.

Don't ignore it! It is not sorted out until the scammers say so. If park jockey used the word, "penalty" then they obviously don't know what they are talking about and therefore you cannot rely on them.

The keeper, needs to send the appeal template before the appeal deadline passes. If the PCN has not been cancelled by half a week before the deadline, the keeper MUST send the appeal, (or someone else can send the appeal provided that it is done in the keeper's name).

I have grounds not to pay so they can try and do what they want. I have done nothing wrong and paid the postage which I have proof of

No, it is a Parking Charge Notice. It is NOT a Penalty Charge Notice. Highview will not have used the word "penalty" on their PCN.

Hopefully the PCN will indeed be cancelled.  

But from everything you've heard here, you must now be aware that the Parking Companies do not play fair - these companies are extremely nasty outfits.  'I have done nothing wrong' is not a defence.  Plenty of people who have done nothing wrong get dragged to court. 

So please, please do as Fruitcake says.  And once you know for sure it's all over - that's the time to kick back and celebrate.

We was on holiday until a week ago and the deadline has passed, when / if they send a reminder then I will write the appeal from the keeper using the blue template
