meanwhile , google POPLA, its only been going since 2013 or so !!!

its the appeal service , provided by the ombudsman

as mentioned above, ignore the query and await a cancellation or a popla code

if you had not bothered with what happened on the day and appealed using the blue text template in the newbies thread, they would probably have cancelled it, becase a keeper has no liability due to HIGHVIEW failing to implment the law named POFA and you do not tell them who was driving, its for you to know, them to find out

You gave away who was driving, then.  Oh my days.  Not again... 

STOP PHONING THEM.  YOU ARE DOING EVERY STEP WRONG.  

I really wish people wouldn't do this.  Surely you already put in your name and address in the stupid online appeal page, and no doubt you ticked ''I was the driver and the parking ticket was wrongly issued'' or whatever that 'absolute NO' choice was.

You've binned your 100% winning position, for the sake of appealing and not coming here first.  No-one PAYS but flipping heck don't appeal like that to private parking firms. You've ruined your best chance at POPLA by not reading the NEWBIES thread here first or just reading any Highview threads, first.  This was so easy.

You will have to rely upon your complaint to the retailer (as per the NEWBIES thread, that's always PLAN A).

sorry I have infuriated you but I am new to this site and the information on these pages are not really clear for a newbie with no understanding of how any of this works.
i will not reply anymore and I will simply ask for the POPLA code and take it from there?

Completely the wrong approach.  Please read other Highview threads to learn how to do this properly.  Stop rushing and trying to phone them.

You will have to appeal again if you didn't put in an address, and this time, use the template from the NEWBIES thread.

Appple, you are asking questions which are answered in the stickies/newbies, have you not read them?  If you have never heard of Popla did you not google it?  

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP., it can cause the scammer extra costs, and in some cases, cancellation. 

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up later this year,

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these companies, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

The Registered Keeper needs to deal with this.  Probably best not to tell us whether that is you because one way or another you have already stated about 20 times that you were the driver.  But I just wanted to make sure that it is the Registered Keeper who proceeds with appeals.

Have you not twigged yet that this is an unregulated industry that uses loopholes, bullying, lying, an appeal system that doesn't take any notice of your appeal etc etc.

I can't understand why you even told a scammer about the insurance detail what on earth has it to do with a bunch of strangers that have joined a club that has devised ways of screwing money out of people.

You say you paid for an hour but the time on site was 1hr 10 that's what they are trying to extract money for, but there are grace periods to consider also, you see they don't play fair they are just greedy scum.

Just follow the advice on here the regulars have seen it all, they tell it like it is, don't go to POPLA without running it past here first.
