As long as it is done in his name, but you could put your address on it so you get all the future correspondence to deal with. But right the way through, it must not be done in your name.

  • So I am literally copying the blue statement on a letter is that correct and I am putting this from the registered Owner with his address on it. I have mentioned evidence has been provided of the parking paid on bank statement, is that all?

Are you reading what I've advised?
Registered Keeper not Owner.  Your address not his.  How hard does this stuff have to be!

No .... do not refer to anything you've sent in previously, you don't want HV to cross-reference to the mess that's already been made of this. You can resubmit it as the evidence of the keeper, but no mention of your earlier correspondence with them.

no , not the owner , from the registered keeper , his name , your address (or his address if he prefers ?) , using the blue text template, with no alterations (this is not about who owns it or who is insured on it)

you can add that payment was made on the day and I have included a redacted copy of the bank statement as proof

what you do NOT do is use your own name at all, it has to be from that registered keeper, even if you are doing the work

The appeal by post should be sent first class from a Post Office counter, and a free proof of posting should be obtained. Also ensure a copy or two of the appeal is kept.

You'll get there apple321.  Yeah you've made a bit of a hash of this so far but you're so polite.  Good luck, keep with it.

  • Thank you I will let you know how I get on. Just think some people on here assume everyone should know what to do and then have a go at them when they don’t and explain things as if people should already know 😂

It may seem that way, but believe me, the other people who have advised you so far are the best friends you could ever have in this situation.  Take everything they say on board.
