The keeper cannot hand you the PCN to deal with , they are responsible for it at this moment in time , it's currently in their name , not yours , so clearly they did not read it , if it has their name on it , then it's their invoice , nobody elses

Tell them to appeal it as keeper , not telling Highview who was driving , appeal on the Highview website , they copy and paste the blue text template , unchanged , it is them that receive a popla code , not you

They can come here for assistance with all of this

To repeat , this has nothing to do with you at this time

"im now trying the contact the people who own the machines as it’s them that’s at fault here!"

    why ?

the scammers own the machines ... so why would they cancel ?????

if you don't stop take a breath and listen to what's being said ... then you will make more mistakes... :/

  • I have spoke to park jockey and they gave me an email address for me to send all the details to and they will pass it onto Highview to cancel the PCN. I will let you know how I get on

Fair enough , but also do what I said getting the keeper to appeal it as keeper using the blue text template , to Highview

You are lucky it's not more serious or a clued up parking company like Parking Eye

Tell the keeper to follow correct procedures in future especially if it was a speeding notice or council PCN etc
  • Redx thank you, I know for future how to follow the processes on the newbie thread before I act, il let you know how this one goes

    And the Keeper too

Nobody is saying that the driver did anything wrong on the day , it may well have been a pdt machine fault

But when the keeper received that postal NTK PCN , they have failed to read it and deal with it correctly. In this case they may well get away with it , but in many other cases it could be bad for them if they fail to follow the correct procedures , so you should stress this with them and assist them in future

In other words , it's been handled badly since the PCN arrived , so lessons must be learned by both of you , getting correct advice in future before any replying or appealing
  • Yes 100% lesson learnt thank u

Yes i has read the newbie thread but the mistake I made is appealing before I read it!
im angry with myself but because I paid the fee the machine told me to and you can’t change the fee, the machine works it out for you!!
im now trying the contact the people who own the machines as it’s them that’s at fault here!

Please calm down and stop doing stuff we have NOT told you to do!

THIS IS SIMPLE. THE KEEPER NOW APPEALS.

IS THE KEEPER A FAMILY MEMEBR?

THEY APPEAL USING THE NEWBIES TEMPLATE AND THEY DO NOT NAME THE DRIVER, AND THEN THEY WIN, EASILY.

If they won't do it but are happy for you to, then you obviously do it but IN THEIR NAME GIVING THEIR EMAIL...

I am assuming this is not a company or lease car because that's fully covered in the NEWBIES thread with its own section.

This won't work and the keeper will run out of appeal time!

PLEASE Get the keeper to do as we told you.

THE NEWBIES THREAD IS AT THE TOP FOR A REASON.

Such an easy one - Highview cancel in days, usually, when they see the template!

  • Yes the keeper is a family member, I can’t appeal again as I have already appealed online so have to wait for their response. I can’t now email them a response as if I am the keeper. I have contacted park jockey who seem quite helpful and have asked me for a copy of the PCN and proof of my payment
