Gratitudes - being warm and well-fed, cleaned part of the bathroom, home grown peppers are nearly ready to eat. Hi I am back few days off work. Unfortunately had a IBS flare up, always seems to happen when I am off work.Friday - mini car service £55 - running so much better for it.Saturday - NSD, took grandkids out local craft shop but dd paid.Sunday - Big shop in HB, seeing as I was off went to a larger store and stocked up on cleaning stuff. £45 eek. Not that clean some paint was in that.Monday - disaster day off, went to local carpet shop, caravan overturned in front of me on road. Had to feel for people, luckily safe but took a while for police to arrive on scene. By then I was in a grump, decided to do a freezer shop in Sainsbobs, looking at clothes as well, 2 guys about to have a fight, I was trapped down aisle in clothes bit dead end. They were going to take it outside but stopped in the end. So had a small local beach walk after to calm down.Tuesday- Next doors new puppy driving me mad with barking so went for a drive, heaps of roadworks and scenic place swamped by tourists. Together with my IBS I was getting more grumpy, ate ice cream which gave me awful tummy ache, will I ever learn or stop moaning.Weds - Aldee and Lidlee - yes my hols were all about shopping, tbh I only ever pop in lidlee on way home so I never have ingredients in when I need to bake, now my cupboards are full. Face creams stock up on. Had quote for new carpet and laminate stairs and hall in afternoon. Nice empty beach walk.Today - you will be glad to hear, moaning stopped, back in work and my tummy is better!Grateful forThis thread to moan onMy house being spotless and freezer, cupboards all full.Gorgeous autumn wreath for my front doorLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

Hello everyone
I haven’t posted for a couple of days. Have had a semi-productive week, got more Brexit paperwork done today. Luckily the appointment itself was far easier than the pain of filling in all the forms, paying fees in the bank, gathering docs to get photocopies etc.... I can pick up my new resident card on 29 Oct. The only thing left to do on the list before Brexit DDay is to exchange my driving licence for a Spanish one.
I exercised 2 days this week. No reading or meditating, however minimal alcohol drunk. I stayed home last night while bf decided to go out and drink his bodyweight in G&Ts… declaring this morning that he is staying sober for the rest of the month, so I will join him.
Wealth
No news from work although it seemed positive last week that they’d have hours for me, everything has now gone quiet. bf also received news that he is having an hourly pay reduction which sucks as he hasn’t had a pay rise ever.
That said, on a positive note we have managed to negotiate €200 off our monthly rent which is fantastic and really going to help us out. Very grateful to our landlord as this is the second time he’s agreed to a temporary reduction. bf has kindly said I can pay less than him as he is working full time.
Private classes have started again this week. I also completely redid my CV and applied for a couple of roles. Applied for the first on l1nk3d 1n and got a notification after submitting telling me that the job was actually closed. Need to keep up the motivation. A lot of jobs come in and disappear off the site on the same day there are so many applicants, so I need to be on the ball.
NSD only on 2/15 although today should be 3.
Life well lived
Have been contacting family more frequently and have plans to send packages and cards to some of them soon.
Grateful for smooth appointment today for my resident card, kind landlord and supportive boyfriend

Good evening everyone
Enjoying my week off - has been semi-productive, and I've been active and exercising. I'm having to re-stock food supplies every few days as my fridge is only so big, and I am trying to eat more fresh vegetables and fruit, and yoghurt like it's going out of fashion. Have re-adjusted my food/spend budget accordingly. Only up to 3 NSDs so far!
Am really enjoying the cooler weather, and glad the heatwaves are out the way. Loving my autumn walks 🚶♂️ Catch you all tomorrow x⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

Today I am grateful for my job, for dd's swim lessons restarting and she magically appeared on the classlist despite me being unable to log on and sort it, for my sunflowers still blooming, for catching dd's HOY when I rang the school, for dh doing some food shopping this morning.Minimal amounts of anything outside of work being done this week. Returning to school is draining - all the social interaction after 5+ months of seeing so very few people is quite exhausting. That said, I'm very aware how fortunate I am to have a job, one that I enjoy, and that it is fairly secure.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

Thursday- NSD 7/15, I think tomorrow will have to be a spend day- bread and milk if nothing else, I have been gifted a big bag of home grown apples and box of free range eggs from a client so they can be scrubbed off the shopping list for a week or so.
Toni'sfriend- yesterday's declutter was better than today! I have given a few glasses/kitchen bits to a girl at work who moved out from her parents house not that long ago. All things she said she needed and she is going to have a think about anything else I could be getting rid of that would help her out. That however was all I managed today.
Apple_muncher , I like your list- I will use it as inspiration when my decluttering slows down.
Gratitudes today- that my clutter is useful to someone else, my mum sorting a garden concern for me, my tomatoes ripening beautifully.7 -
Morning all, haven't posted for a few days but not much to update on. Am up to 6 NSD's, work is keeping me busy which is good as it stops my mind wandering to spending! Last day at work today as am on leave for a week, although am covering court duty tomorrow so may get called in depending on what happens. Definitely looking forward to some time off work, am getting a bit sick of people using any and all excuses to never go back to work while the rest of us cover their work. I appreciate the dangers and have been super careful this whole time because of my role, but none of these people are shielding in their spare time, only when it comes to work! I think I've socialised less than them from what I've seen, it just irritates me that some people seem to be playing the system to suit them in times like this.
Anyway, enough moaning. Going to do a bit of pilates before logging on for the day. Seems to be helping my back pain which I'm very grateful for! Have sold something on ebay this morning which was a pleasant surprise. Will have to get that posted.6 -
NSD No 7 yesterday
Tidied all my garden containers, got rid of withered plants and planted some new seeds.
Entered one of the cupboards of doom upstairs. Folded and tidied re-usable bags which have come with food deliveries which Himself had just chucked in there. We have two boxes full plus I've discovered some really old ones which are going in the bin when he's not looking as they are no good to anyone. Some of them are from shops that we haven't been to in years. I told you he was a hoarder. Oh and there are dozens of those heavy jute type ones I shall investigate again today to see what other little gems he's got squirrelled away.
Had a long conversation with my nephew last night. He's just out of isolation after being in contact with a work colleague who did something stupid and tested positive. Said colleague is not popular. It was nice to hear from him.
Food delivery coming today (more bags) so better get on.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8
