NSD no.4 today.
Yesterday's grateful list:
Had my hair cut.
Booked my next 2 hair appointments.
Chilled out day.
Today I am grateful for:
Walk in park, went round a lap with someone who I see in the park. Had a nice chat.
Baked a fruit cake.
Finished the cottage roof on my cross stitch kit. Only have the sky and the backstitch to do now.
Nice weather.

More cooking, in the breaks between tv and sewing. Now have 4 portions of chicken (leek, mushroom and ham) to go with pasta, 3 portions of chicken stew (+1 mum had for tea) and 4 portions of chicken curry (for mum) - will make rice tomorrow and add to each tray. Boxed up the chilli too, All in the fridge for now (everything left from the meat pack except the chicken went into the freezer). I was too tired to do more. I have a couple of things I want to try but I need to look up a recipe and try making up a spice mix (have the ingredients but there were only percentages on a few of them so need to make some educated guesses and a few sums).
Lots of things I want/ need to do but will probably have to keep plodding .
Today I am grateful for the things I have done, for a lovely novel I finished (4th in a series but need to send off for more - think they are up to 17 atm), for having another series I can carry on with until more books arrive. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7 -
Sunday- very definitely a high spend day but I have no regrets and it's all worthwhile and paid for (not on credit) today I bought furniture for my new house. Some 2nd hand, some new, all needed and well planned.
Apart from dog walks no real exercise but that's OK.
Little progress on decluttering but as its bin day tomorrow I grabbed a bin bag and filled it just by wandering about the house and grabbing things that I know are not moving with us. So several things gone and that's the aim every day.
Gratitudes- that saving has paid off and money was ready to spend when needed, bargain furniture in amazing condition, mum making lunch for DD and I.

Good evening...
Late check in for me. Had a nice couple of days with the parents and we even dared venture out for a coffee. Mum was quite apprehensive and wanted her mask on all the time (even when having food and drink haha) bless her. Not a NSD yesterday, but clocked up one today...
Today = NSD number 3
My leave starts tomorrow and I am determined to have a productive week off. I have so much stuff I could do for work, and also de-clutter at least one cupboard a day... I'll keep going to the gym/for walks, and want to do some batch cooking if I can. Night for now 😴⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

NSD 2 on Saturday and went food shopping yesterday. Today won't be a NSD as I need to buy more paint. We are almost finished, there's half a wall left to do. Threw out another 2 bin bags worth of tat from the room and identified yet more items to go to the tip. Really need to do that this week. Grateful for the bedroom looking much nicer, yummy roast dinner at work yesterday and a good sleep last night.

WEALTH:
CCs all paid off in full - will be spending on them this week for 2x MOt & 2 x service - but have the money set aside for that (assuming no ££££ disasters!) Food spending still high - but am buying much more F&v and lean protein and we also have DS1 back home for a couple of weeks. Garden producing lots of tomatoes and pears and there are 2 final courgettes which I am leaving to get a big bigger/ plumper. Still have 1 lot of potatoes to unearth, too
Couple of ideas found for X-day - am keeping an eye out in case there's a discount code coming up!
LIFE WELL-LIVED
Off to CS for a volunteering session this week. Between the 6 of us this week we have 3 dental appointments, 2 x blood donation sessions, a job interview in the next county, 2 days (min) with reduced/ no car access, a hair appointment.
Stuff - DD added 4 things to CS box this week, I added 1. Couple of things added to 'to sell' pile - now I actually need to list the bloomin' stuff!Couple of tops recovered from the 'too small' bag at back of my wardrobe as they now fit, so they've been freshened up and ironed and hung back in my wardrobe
GRATITUDES
DD getting a job interview from her first proper application (good experience, even if she doesn't get it), sunny weather, weight going down, smallest 2 having a good start back to school, fence being put up in garden - we are no longer open plan to the world and neighbours!! Morning all
Been a few days since I last managed to post. Have managed 2 NSD's so far today will be my third.
Friday had a trip to the vet with my rabbit, must call and pay the bill ASAP. He seems fine now! On the way there my car started making a funny noise, it hasn't done it since but I booked it in at my local garage tomorrow just to have it checked over, more for my own peace of mind than anything else.
Saturday I went to my local farm shop for the first time to see what it's like, bought a few bits that I would've otherwise got from the supermarket. A tad more expensive but I'm not doing a big shop there so it's not the end of the world! Cleaned inside the car and worked out too. Had takeaway pizza from a local place, spent £7.
Sunday I went horse riding first thing then met a friend for a coffee, haven't seen her for ages so it was lovely to catch up. Then took my niece to see the horse as a treat and had dinner round at my sister's. So no NSD there but a lovely weekend with family.
Back at work this morning (although at home), bit quiet so I've popped on quickly to update before it gets busy later!5 -
Health
Still not doing too well in this department. Did a lot of walking yesterday and today though.
Overall for the last week I have been eating much better and eating more at home which is definitely an improvement on the last 6 or so weeks.
I have decided to join the gym after all. Just have no motivation to exercise otherwise!! This should cost around €100 for 3 months.
Wealth
Yesterday and today were spend days, but minimal and within budget. €10 yesterday and €3 today. bf bought brekkie out as we were running around getting copies of documents for our admin appointment so had no time to eat at home, and he owed me from yesterday.
Managed to complete Stage 1 of the brexit paperwork which is just to make sure we are registered as living in this council district. Well, bf took care of it while I sunbathed outside as restrictions only allowed one of us in the town hall at a time.
Next week it should be much easier to rack up the NSDs as at least one of us will be back to work.
Life well lived
spoke to Mum and sisters on phone, messaged another old friend.
Grateful for a not too hot sun and pretty clouds today, my little sister settling into college and cheesecake

Today I am grateful for a good day at work, for plenty of steps, for dd adoring her new ballet school, for seeing some lovely white flowers in a garden, for getting a dentist appt (albeit for 10 days' time, but I'm not in pain).
