Facethermusic - let us know how your sorting out goes - keeps you accountable!Today I am grateful for a lovely night's sleep, for doing my workout and yoga at home, for correctly sewing dd's ribbons on her ballet shoes, for my neighbour cracking on and borrowing tools and digging the front 15" over which then galvanised me into sorting out 3 more lavender plants to plant in there and it all looks a lot neater now, for a chat with another neighbour.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!7

Saturday- still on NSD 3/15. Only low spend on the shop so not a major issue just yet.
Managed some me time combined with exercise today- riding lesson which went well- clever pony did good today.
apple_muncher I will happily report my sorting, as long as it doesn't bore everyone to tears- feel free to chase me if it seems to slow down! Not much done today but I did throw out a couple of "spare" items from the cutlery drawer while making dinner- every little helps I guess 🤣. I have decluttered some chocolate from the treat cupboard but I don't suppose I can count that!

So having just posted that not much decluttering happened today- the world laughs at my expense 🤣
I had a bottle of car oil on my kitchen floor (don't ask!), which must have been knocked over earlier without me noticing- the lid was obviously not tight- a half bottle of oil spilled over my kitchen floor 😱. All over a pair of boots and a rucksack- so the boots were my old work ones- a replacement pair was bought about a month ago, I continued to wear the old ones until they totally fell to bits- now in the bin and the replacements will be worn. The bag was 1 of 2 I have which are quite similiar- it was likely only 1 would make the move but I wasn't sure which- decision now made and bag also in the bin! So 2 more items added to the list of "stuff i will never see again". Also have a slightly cleaner patch on my kitchen floor so some dirt also decluttered in the clean up operation 🤣

Lots of tv watching and sewing with lots of little jobs done in the advert breaks. Meat parcel from musclefood arrived at 1 pm and spent most of the afternoon cooking - 5 different lots of chicken marinaded and then cooked. Cooked a Chinese meal with a garlic and honey sauce and later made spag bol and chilli. All the chicken is cool and packed in labelled bags, spag bol is in small pie tins (using up all mum's recycled bits). Some things from the meat pack went straight into the freezer, will see how I feel tomorrow before deciding what to do with the rest.
Washed clothes and put them on the line, it rained a bit but I left them out. A bit of tidying, a bit of cleaning, rubbish out. Only 5 tins left in the soupery, so cut a large cardboard box up to make layers and put all this week's tins in there - last week was a party heavy shop so went back to basics this week (beans, tomatoes, soup, tinned fruit).
I am grateful for lots of cooking, for mum liking what I cooked, for trying new recipes. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Morning all,
Spendy day yesterday on food for the week (visited The Company Shop, anyone else got one near them? It’s amazing) and 2 cardigans for work/winter as we will be teaching with the windows open.
Today should be SFD number 3 as I will probably work all day to prep for next week. Hoping for good weather today so I can dry the washing outside and walk the dogs in the dry.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Health
2 small beers drunk yesterday with lunch. Met some friends for a picnic after but didn’t have any further drinks.
No exercise done but will try to pull my finger out on Monday. Still tempted to join the gym but don’t want to shell out just yet.
No reading or meditation done yet.
lunch out yesterday but we didn’t order much as had already eaten quite well with the free tapas that comes with the drinks. We ordered a slice of tortilla, 2 croquetas and 2 beers between us which came to €10 and I paid.
Dinner was home cooked pasta and caprese salad. Doing well on the takeaway ban.
Wealth - €10 spent yesterday from fun budget on lunch and €5 from food budget from supermarket
REALLY hoping for some good news from work on Monday. Waiting to hear if I’m going back to the company I was teaching at last year. I am working on plan B but this would give me some breathing room, so hope it comes through.
Life well lived
Said yes to a BBQ a student invited me to…
Will video call my mum and 2 oldest younger sisters today.
RAOK let 2 ppl go in front of me in the queue at the shop
I’m grateful for a positive day with lovely people, and for being back with the turtles. At the moment it’s really keeping me on the straight and narrow…. hope it continues!!
Have a fantastic Sunday everyone!!

Another NSD. No 4
Just making dinner for the Boy and us. I'm beginning to wonder if Himself and I are being over cautious as most of the people I know have started going out for meals, day trips, etc. But at the same time the authorities are warning that they might have to reimpose restrictions in the area we live in. We were going to wait to see how we managed on holiday in a small village to see how things go.
Talking of holidays our friends are not now able to come when they were supposed to but will join us later. I'll have to re-organise my plans as they were supposed to be bringing some necessities with them. Not too much of a problem and there actually are some benefits to them coming later.
No de-cluttering or anything else done today but it is Sunday. Well, that's my excuse anyway.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
Evening all you lovely Turtles! I got up early, did coffee and politics, counted up lunchbox tat (I have not missed making lunch boxes during lockdown at all) and realised they have helped themselves to the cans of drink for Monday, so had to nip down to Herr R0n and spend £3 on that (12 cans), and while I was there I bought £2 tubs of Fl0ra for 39p and St0rk for 15 p a bar, or whatever the word is you buy butter in that is bar shaped (I can't remember). So I have everything I need to make DS2 birthday millionaires shortbread, and dh's requested birthday scones, and DS1s birthday coffee cake, plus all the crumble toppings I will need as I have been to the local community orchard and scrumped an entire huge woven shopping bag full of apples (mostly windfalls but did shove a couple of kids up a tree to get some top ones). So they had apple pie for pudding tonight, after their toad in the hole. So not a NSD, but still quite cheap really.Gratitudes: I smashed a teapot (no idea how, it jumped off the lowest shelf about 3 inches and shattered) but nobody was hurt, Battlestar Galactica being on tv last night - I love it so much I need to watch it all again - for the flickering scales this morning. for lovely hot Earl Grey teabags that satisfy every single time.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

toni'sfriend - I wouldn't say you are being too cautious. You certainly wouldn't want to be reckless and do daft stuff and then get ill.... Each one of us decides our limit for ourselves.
Today I am grateful for getting to tye gym (it has yet to feel even a little bit busy inthere, which is lovely), for the freedom of having a car, for dd loving skateboarding, for having a printer, for getting some school work progressed, for my missing-filling-tooth not being painful.
