CCL - I need your inspiration to get this house sorted.
Calling - 800 calories a day to get rid of the central obesity. I'm struggling with 1200
NSD No 3
Weather is shocking. Rain with torrential showers so no walking I'm afraid.
Himself is steadily decluttering his TV recordings but, unfortunately, he's adding more as he goes along. How many programmes and about trains and railways can there be? And he's recorded loads of films that he already has on DVD. I despair, I really do.
On the plus side our freezers are beginning to look almost normal. He's also decluttering his "bottom drawer" which is full of bits and bobs of leftovers that he refused to throw away. No idea what most of them are. Grocery order being delivered tomorrow but a lot of that is basics for our holiday that I'll need before we can shop or get a delivery.
Better go and see how my casserole is doing.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.8 -
800 cal per day will put your body into starvation mode and is not enough for your basic functions, let alone anything else. Please don't eat that little! Eat well instead.

NSD no.2 today.
Decluttered some old paperwork. Also took the 2 items to the recycling. Took the bus there and walked to centre. They were only small electrical items. Normally take things there by bus but it is only small amounts. I walk in. Other big items I paid someone to take them away. Done that twice in the last 2 years. My brother kindly took somethings away to get rid off for me after my Mum died. Did a short walk .
Grateful for:
Decent night's sleep.
Read some of a book.
Word search.

Facethemusic we have no stubble fields that we can access unfortunately, but I'm very lucky in that Epsom Downs is a stone's throw from the yard so have the chance for a bit of a blast there.
2 NSD's so far, bought my aunt a birthday card and a token gift as it's her 70th and made a charity donation but those are my only spends other than normal DD's going out. Found a charity who will take my old sofa as having a new one delivered soon (OH paid for it so no complaints here!). Am glad it's going to a good home.
Have managed two workouts this month, my back has flared up overnight so didn't do a workout today but went for a walk instead. Not much else to report. Work is stressful, had some sad news about a client today which knocked everyone's morale but we carry on and support each other as best we can.

Hi everyone
Had 3 full on days at work but am enjoying my job and enjoying being able to work from home. I do lots of evening meetings and it is great to be able to switch off my laptop and make a cuppa tea as soon as the meeting has finished rather than help put away tables and chairs and have a 40 minute drive.
Finances - I posted a parcel of books/DVDs/CDs to ziffit so hoping for the money to come in soon - not much but all helps. I've been slowly stocking up on supplies for DD2's uni return.
DD2 has some temporary work that i saw advertised on Fb - she started today, just for 6 days but she is enjoying it and gets a lift rather than mum's taxi
Health - I've been for a few walks with DD2 but no exercise classes as yet. Eating is good, lots of F&V. Booked a smear test - male receptionist said he thought i'd asked for a fear test - who would want one of those?! I said a smear test is not much better!
Me time - Have been reading before bed which i find very relaxing.
Gratitudes - that i can continue to work from home; that DD2 is enjoying some temporary work and it is not making her anxious; for supportive friends

NSD 3/20
Suffering with a bad migraine today so not really achieved anything much, though I did finish the back of my jumper yesterday and have started on the front, as I can knit without having to look at what I’m doing.
I’m grateful for caring work colleagues, that it’s Friday tomorrow and that I’m able to work from home at the moment.

Thursday check in.
lcc86- we are surrounded by cattle and barley, so stubble fields everywhere just now! Epsom Downs sound pretty awesome though.
Today has been NSD 2/15.
Very close to 20000 steps today- might take the dog for an extra bedtime walk to make sure I get there.
Not much else to report- a very small amount of stuff to a relative who takes old metal to "the scrappie" and gets paid for it, so better than it going to the skip. I feel a bit overwhelmed with where to start- it looks like moving won't be until mid/end October. I really want to get started with packing up and getting ready to go, but equally 6 weeks or more is a long time to live surrounded by boxes. Does anyone have helpful tips? I'm currently leaning towards going through all the cupboards/drawers etc and getting rid of everything that's NOT going, but anything I plan to keep goes back where it was until the start of October- but does this just mean I have to go through everything twice? Possibly I just need to START as sitting thinking about the mess won't change anything!
Grateful today for- my friend feeding me unexpectedly, an ebay purchase being "just right" (and about a quarter of the price of buying new), that my biggest concern just now is packing my stuff up to move- an exciting time and I never thought a few years ago I would be in the position to buy a house at all, never mind one as nice as the one I am moving to- so I need to stop seeing this as a problem and be grateful i have got to this point and have the means to provide a safe home for DD.

Back in the new normal routine at school. Who thought putting on a happy smiley face could be so draining. Spends are not too bad but could do much better, l intend to do a stock check of the freezers as we seem to have lamb chop overload and lm not keen on lamb. Decorating this weekend at DD so that should stop me eating as she never has any food in. Have restarted list things to sell but not much interest yet fingers crossed. Have a good weekend everyone x
