Shrewbie - I'd been trying to remember about you, and as I started to read your post, recalled that you were out in Madrid - which was then confirmed by your post. (Apple is wearing a very smug face at being so clever...!) And you are still there! Wow! I can't recall where in the city you are - I au paired there donkey's years ago and was living on Principe de Vergara - a right posh part, a little north of the Retiro. Were you almost constantly moving houseor a while? Keep well out there - news here says Madrid seems to be the epicentre all over again, though I suppose that means that certain districts are more affected than others.

NSD No 2
Just managing to avoid the new restrictions here. Right on the border of the area. It wouldn't really affect us too much anyway as the only person who visits is the Boy once a week but I don't want to go back to what it was. I just hope people take heed.
At the moment we are decluttering (ie watching) the huge number of things that Himself has recorded and not got round to viewing. Just watched a fascinating programme about a music festival in Norway where all the instruments are made of ice and a couple of travel programmes. Very interesting because I don't think we'll be going abroad any time soon.
I've also got a big bag of rubbish ready to go when he's not looking (too big to stuff up my jumper, Apple),Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
I am on NSD 0 , the monthly tea, coffee, laundry powder and dried goods etc have all been purchased and put away.I managed to lose 2 of my children today, had #1 and #2 in the car but the third did not turn up, so #1 went to find him, then I realised I was late for #4, so went to pick him up, on the way found the original missing child (#3) and then totally missed #1, who came racing up the road after us. And all because #3 forgot where he was being picked up. Kids eh?4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Evening all!
Great day (off!) here. Hit the gym and had a good work out. Did my weekly shop and will up date my signature. Think I am going to change it to per week rather than per month. Been out for a walk - Still 387 steps to get in before bed haha. That's a lot of circuits of my tiny flat lol. Sticking to my health goals and eating well... Must do some mindfulness before bedtime!!!
See you all tomorrow 😊⭐ DEBT FREE : 18/02/2025 ⭐

facethemusic - Wishing you all the best for the house.
Did a big food shop for the month. Only have to do top up food shops. Should have enough ingredients in for the month to make fruit cakes and scones. Did walk to and from home/one shop and plenty of walking doing the rest of my shopping.
Grateful for:
Getting what I had on my to do list done.
St. Anthony helping me find 2 things I had misplaced. My Mum always used to pray to him.
Having a chilled out afternoon after a busy morning.
Got phone call to say my glasses are ready to be picked up. Booked an appointment for Friday at the opticians.Frugal Living Challenge 2025 Mortgage free as of 1st August 20138 -

Today I am grateful for my first day back being online meetings + training from home, for dd doing well without her tooth, for lots of rasps, for dd's dance classes re-starting in person this month along with her swim lessons, for not having too early a start tomorrow...

Health - Plan to start running again this month and am going to download c25k to get me started. Eating is going really well as joined ww last month and it's made a huge difference to my eating habits. Will make sure I plan me time, have downloaded some books onto my tablet for this.
Wealth - Budget is all sorted for the month and entered into YNAB. I save money each month in the credit union plus a bit extra so by the time it gets to that day I should have around £500 saved. Will aim for 15 NSDs this month.
Life well lived - Plan to meet up with my gran on Friday but no other plans so far. Me and OH are slowly decluttering the flat and have a pile identified to go to the tip.
Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86
