Hopefully mini riot will settle soon.
You will have ups and downs, make the most of the ups and rest during the downs. There's no point saying take it slowly all the time as I know you're trying to make up for the bad days.

Anything you can save, even if it's your regular amount, is good. Savings are going in the right direction.

Thanks guys :) I’m off this week so have been taking the opportunity to rest.

Good news- I have a job interview! It’s not an OT role, it’s in a completely different area but it sounds really interesting and would be desk based with hopefully some wfh opportunities so a lot more manageable than being out in the community or on a ward.

Thank you! It's not for a couple of weeks so started researching and prepping today.

Ordered myself a cheeky sandwich and a diet coke from a local deli for lunch, £6. Also did a bit of shopping and got mini some summer clothes (and her flower girl dress!) because she's sprouted and gone up another size! Me and her dad are both tall so I guess she's taking after us. Fortunately there was a sale on in a couple of places so got her quite a few bits for £45

Pace your prep and slow down towards the day.
Kids have spurts, my SIL goes for a bigger age to get more use out the clothes.

Yes, I think I’ll have to do that, especially when she starts school!

We’ve had a nice day today :) our local shopping centre has put up some picnic benches on the grassy area outside started doing different food trucks on a Saturday, so we went took mini to the library to get some boots out and then say and had bratwurst and mini donuts in the sun.

I’ve started phone sessions with a physiotherapist from the fatigue service and we’re working on my walking tolerance. We’re starting from what I know I can tolerate (about 6 mins, there abs back to minis nursery) and I have to do that every day for a few weeks before we start incrementally increasing it. I also got a fitbit to keep an eye on my heart rate and steps on their recommendation and I’m actually managing more than I thought I was! I can’t walk that far all in one go but I’m doing about 3000 steps a day between my little walk and pottering around in the house.

Riotdude is working tonight and mini asked to go to bed early (!!!) so I’m going to chill out with a veggie burger and watch Love Island :)
