Physio guidance sounds good, keep us updated with how you get on.
Day out sounded relaxing, no wonder mini riot has gone to bed. Enjoy your evening!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Morrisons order arriving today, £54I’ve had quite a good week so far, been feeling quite fatigued but have got a lot done from bed/the sofa. Planning to have today off and watch a movie and paint my nails.2

We’re booked for swimming this morning but riotdude has put his foot down and said I’m not well enough to go so I guess it’s looking like a day in the housemight take mini to stop in and see my grandma later

Good colour choice.
Whatever you do, it will be a lovely day.
I know it's hard, but do trust RD as those close to us notice a lot more than we realise. They are only looking out for us.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Rest my lovely, you will have good days and rest days I am hopeful you can go to the baths when you are a bit stronger. Sending my hugs and love.

I know, I know, you are both right and so was riotdude! It's just so hard to accept sometimes that I can't do the things I used to. Thank you for the kind messages, I will do my best to listen and rest xD
Not swimming was the right call and Friday DID turn out to be a nice day anyway. We played at home during the morning and then I took mini out to run a couple of errands and pop in to see my Grandma. It turned out it was the 7 year anniversary of my Grandad passing so I'm glad we went round and sat with her for a bit.
The rest of the weekend ended up also being lovely, although a bit spendy! Our TV finally died, it was about 15 years old and had been glitchy for ages, so it served us well. We got a new one from Argos for £330, I have no idea about any of the specs but riotdude was very happy about it. He commented that it was the first time in his life that he'd been in a position to just buy a new TV the same week that the old one stopped working, so I think he's starting to understand the benefits of having savings!
Sunday was my best friend's baby shower, she's been keen to have a baby for ages and seems to be enjoying pregnancy so far, so I'm chuffed for her. We went out for brunch (£30) and I bought her some sleep sacks as a present as she was complaining she didn't understand the tog system.
This week I need to focus on getting my head round lots of theory for my research placement and then I have my job interview on Wednesday! I feel like I'm pretty well prepared and my practise interview with the careers service went well, but I'm still quite nervous. My Granny always says mass and lights a candle for me, my sister and my cousins any time we have an exam or an interview and it's like a funny little family superstition now- I think we all know that my Granny's candles don't have a direct line to God but I do always feel better knowing she's lighting them for me anyway.
Then at the weekend I'm off to Liverpool for my hen party! I'm very excited but also aware that I'm going to have to tread very carefully to manage my energy3 -
I am glad you saw your Gran, I am sure your Gran has a line to God as my mum has the other connected line. When she prays for something it happens. It's great that you had a baby shower, new telly, wishing you a great hen party. Woop woop.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

It took me a few years before I realised my OH was right about me having rest days, now I don't debate and just veg out.
Sounds like you had a much better day because of not going swimming, everything happens for a reason. Granny can have her personal line if it gets you the offer!
Aside from interview day (everything is crossed) can you do a lot of rest in readiness for the weekend, try and build some energy reserves and also carefully plan food and nibbles for lots of little energy boosts.
I'm not sure the novelty of having savings and being able to pay for things straight off ever fades, certainly keeps stress levels down.
