Well I handed in my research project on Monday! I had to let go of my usual perfectionist standards for the sake of my health but I’m so pleased it’s done. That was my last assignment to hand in, all I need to do now is figure out how to get some placement hours in.I’ve given myself this week off from doing anything remotely productive, aside from my usual dog sitting, so I’ve kept mini riot in nursery and I’ve been enjoying lounging around watching tv and having some long baths. Next week I’m going to crack on and do some organisational tasks and try and go for some very short walks to see if I can improve my walking tolerance without wrecking myself. Fingers crossed!3

How many hours left to do? Is there a way of breaking them right down so an hour or two every few weeks, with plenty of rest in-between?
Congratulations for getting your assignment in, that's one less problem to deal with.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Thanks
Unfortunately not MF, I have about 400 hours left to do and to meet your competencies for the placement you need to be there regularly, nobody would take on a student for an hour or two a week.

Oh, what solutions / reasonable adjustments has your tutor come up with as you can't be the only one diagnosed partway through the course.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

So far they’re looking into a work from home placement for me, occ health have said I’m not fit to do anything in person so I think their hands are tied there.I’ve asked if I can do some looking of my own, as obviously all their contacts are local and if I’m working from home anywhere it doesn’t really matter where it’s based. Fingers crossed with a wider net I should be able to come up with something!3

Having OcH on your side is good, makes it easier to find alternative options. Keeping my fingers crossed they sort something out for you ☺️Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2

I hope you can organise your own placement personal contacts (through old friends - school and university) are usually the best way. Incredibly well done on finishing your research project what a relief that is. Hopefully you can chill for a bit. Keeping fingers crossed for you. Enjoy time with your family.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Thanks all
Looks like I pushed it too much yesterday doing some cleaning so today I’m on the sofa. On the bright side, I got my first vaccine dose this morning!
£50 left in the grocery budget for this month. All of mini riot’s presents are sorted for her birthday next weekend and I have half a tank of petrol so shouldn’t have to spend much over the next couple of weeksExcited for next month’s savings as we should get bonuses on our LISA and our help to save.
Weight loss and healthy eating took a nose dive over the last couple of weeks but back on it today!4
