I hope you feel better soon, blame it on the winter weather now.
Daily shopping ends up costing a lot more, is there anyway riotdude can plan and buy for a few days? Or perhaps see if you can get a supermarket delivery instead or order the g-box.
Whatever you do on your birthday will be special, the beach will be waiting for when you feel a little better.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Thanks
I had a really lovely birthday! Just a lazy day around the house having a bubble bath and painting my nails (and smelling my new perfume samples) and then riotdude made me homemade burgers and we played the new crash bandicoot game (a birthday present)
I’m feeling a little bit better, have been eating nutritious comforting things and doing a tiny bit of gentle yoga and curling up under blankets. I don’t think it actually really helps my symptoms but it makes me feel better mentally to feel like I’m looking after myself!£88 pounds left in the grocery budget which is grand, but I’ve overspent on presents by £120 and I still haven’t finished shopping yet! xD I thought I was doing well getting deals but apparently not! One of my friends texted me that she’s picked something up for mini riot for Christmas so ofc now I’ve got to add her little boy to my shopping list too. I love Christmas and I don’t normally mind all the shopping but I’m just so worn out this year. I am VERY excited to put our tree up next weekend though, I’m going to paint some cut out Christmas shapes with mini riot this afternoon to turn into garlands.2 -
Sounds like a wonderful birthday and just what you needed.
If you can keep up the mental feel good, the physical side isn't as annoying.
You're doing well with the budgets and this time of year is always more expensive. Enjoy the preparations 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
End of the month! Managed to save £650, £500 of which was our help to save bonus.I had my gastroscopy yesterday, all clear which is good but I’m feeling very low about being unwell and still not knowing what’s wrong.3

Well done on savings 🤗
I’m glad to hear the gastroscopy went ok. I had mine on my 50th birthday, they all sang happy birthday to me in the operating theatre as I fell unconscious 😆
Its hard not knowing what the cause is but at least that’s a few more nasty things crossed off the list. Hopefully your gp will continue to investigate and you will have a diagnosis & feel better soon.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

That's some good savings and getting the bonus is always nice.
Having all clear means another thing is ruled out, one of these checks will get to the bottom of why you're ill xMortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Poor diary has been neglected so thought I'd do an update!
- I am being referred to a specialist cfs/me clinic after Christmas, as everything else has been ruled out, this is looking like the most likely diagnosis. My doctor has (very kindly) advised that I am unlikely to be better anytime soon, so I'm working on adjusting to that. I have a lot of fear and sadness about what might happen in the future, especially with my career, but at least now I know how to plan a little better and can stop sitting around waiting and hoping I'll recover soon.
- I'm still trucking on as best I can with my course and making decent (albeit slow!) progress. I've asked if I can do my final placement hours working from home, as I'm unfortunately still not fit to be on a ward.
- The riot household is in full Christmas mode! Our tree is up, my present shopping is finally done and mini riot and I spent the weekend making spiced Christmas biscuits for everyone.
- Have fallen a bit behind with surveys and finance tracking with everything else going on but hopefully we should still save a bit this month. Next year is a bit of a worry but I'm putting together a bumper pack of application + evidence for student finance in the hope that they'll support me for the final stretch of my course.2 -
Having a potential answer will allow you to adapt, but you've been doing that for a while. There will be a different direction you can take after finishing your course, if the suspected diagnosis is confirmed.
You've done well with the finance applications before, last push to secure this one and it's the home stretch.
Christmas will soon be here and hopefully the fun and relaxation will do you a load of good xMortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
