I've applied for a reward current account ( I already have a current one as it downgraded last month)
As said previously, the details for a switch came after my application was accepted so I've switched an old Tesco account but at no time during the application was the £100 mentioned. Is that usually the case? Not Rachmaninov

Though a determined fraudster would probably not be deterred if they came on separate days.I've often wondered why the PIN isn't sent by a secure message to the website/app or even by text message.Would that not be a safer way of doing it?2 -
There was some information right at the bottom of the first page of the switching form linking to the new offer, but it seemed to contain information relating to a previous offer, so I don't think its inclusion was intended.Frogletina said:I've applied for a reward current account ( I already have a current one as it downgraded last month)

Once you start the application, there is no more mention of the £100 from what I can remember. But don't worry, as long as you have adhered to the T & Cs, you will get it.

Sending the PIN itself could be problematic, but providing access to it via online banking or app would be fine and some banks do this. It would be nice to choose either post or online - so a 'paperless' option for PINs.SpanishBlue said:colsten said:

My significant half has now just been accepted for the account. In total we have £200 to look forward to plus the £5.00 reward each month for keeping £5k in the accounts. Very pleased!0

Thanks for posting this.
Had a reward from Halifax back in 2017 so I'm eligible. Just applied, account opened and switch started. £100 for 5 minutes work.
I'll downgrade the account or switch it out after I've received the £100. Don't think any other bank is doing a switch incentive at the moment apart from Halifax.0 -

Not sure this is standard practice for them though as I had ordered a card for my savings account I have with them a few weeks ago, and the pin came 2 maybe 3 days after the card did.0 -
I opened an account about a month ago and on that occasion my card and PIN notification arrived on different days, so doesn't seem to be standard practice. Like others, I've received both for my new Reward account today.mab3000 said:
