Honestly, from what I have read on here there seems to be no rhyme or reason for timelines... its literally pot luck..
i know it says dont contact them for the first 19 days but i would if I hadnt heard anything at all... if you have a broker ask them to check the portal. Its so stressful 😢😢FTB- 90% LTV

We have also heard nothing about a valuation, so assume it's not been booked yet.Ejcmjj said:
We sent our application on the 18th August and have heard nothing back. Our mortgage broker says its due to the long delays due to lack of staff. We've had no valuation info! Pulling my hair out!hburnett163 said:Hi all,
bit worried about not having a valuation confirmation yet! Using a broker and the only confirmation we’ve had was the text letting us know they received our application. Last Tuesday (01/09). Most people got their valuation confirmation very quickly after their application confirmation, anyone else in my position?!
Only had hard search done0 -
Hi - I should probably know this, but how do I know if Nationwide has done a hard credit search - presumably you're getting a text to confirm this? Or are you reviewing your credit reports with the main providers?
My wife and I are existing customers of there's and have applied to port our existing mortgage and extend it for the purchase of a new place. Applied on 17th August and have heard very little since other than a request for another bank statement from me. Our broker has said it is because we took a mortgage holiday (we didn't need to in the end - neither of us were furloughed - we did it out of precaution and put all money saved into savings - we're back paying now and really wish we hadn't taken the holiday in the first place!).
Fingers crossed they review things sooner rather than later - the time taken so far is beginning to test my nerves!

The only texts I've received are to: 1) tell me my mortgage product has been reserved; and 2) they they have received my application - both were on 17th August shortly after my broker submitted our application - nothing since! I wish they'd hurry up and at least book the valuation!

Anyone have timescales from Valuation being carried out to hearing whether it was approved? Ours was done 09/09... just wanted to know rough timescale although i am guessing thats a “how long is a piece of string” question atmFTB- 90% LTV

I got a text on the 11th saying it was blocked and then two texts at the same time on the 17th to say received/will be reviewed and then accepted. I don't think they have a timescale for anything at the moment except "forever" 😂Wales2020 said:Anyone have timescales from Valuation being carried out to hearing whether it was approved? Think it’s the how long is a piece of string situation, some people seem to get offers within a week, or there’s people like me who have to wait 40 million years for an offer 😐Wales2020 said:Anyone have timescales from Valuation being carried out to hearing whether it was approved?
