I would definitely ring and find out what’s going on. We received the text to say our valuation report had been approved, then it went really quiet. I rung and they were actually waiting for a most recent payslip from us, so if I hadn’t of rung we could have been waiting for ages!Yellow_1978 said:Hi, Just wanted to get opinions..... We sent our application on the 18th August and have heard nothing back. Our mortgage broker says its due to the long delays due to lack of staff. We've had no valuation info! Pulling my hair out!hburnett163 said:Hi all,
bit worried about not having a valuation confirmation yet! Using a broker and the only confirmation we’ve had was the text letting us know they received our application. Last Tuesday (01/09). Most people got their valuation confirmation very quickly after their application confirmation, anyone else in my position?!0 -
Application submitted about 20th of July, no issues with valuation but Nationwide asked for few extra documents and each time we submit a document they ask for, it takes them almost 2 weeks to process it. I understand they are busy but 2 weeks to process 1 piece of paper? Jeez0

Only one hard search so far and valuation completed. I would assume your valuation should have been booked by now?Ejcmjj said:Anyone in a similar position?

Yeah, our broker said it was because since working from home they’re lazy! Probably more to do with being the only lender accepting 10% deposits at the moment so most people have no other choice! We only had two other lenders available to us one was the springboard (so not possible for us) and the other was a higher rate of interest. Just huge demand I guess, with the stamp duty holiday too.Ejcmjj said:
