5 working days from the second app! WOW!

Now what happens can we celebrate?!
Congrats, are you booking a Level 2 or 3 survey and have you instructed a conveyancer?
Hi @ashthemash we've been living in the property for 15 years, so we had a basic homebuyers given how familiar with the property we are, conveyancer was instructed when we made the offer prior to mortgage app all searches, AML have been completed already.
  • Hi, does anyone have any updated timeline? We had a text yesterday saying our valuation had been done so wondered how long it’s taken them lately

03/05 - application submitted, received text confirmation. Hard credit search done on ClearScore.
07/05 (the next working day due to bank hol) - received text to advise valuation booked
    09/05 - valuation took place
15/05 - received text to confirm valuation received, and another one received within 2 minutes to confirm mortgage offer issued
  • 10/05 Pre-valuation team confirmed that they would lend against the property
13/05 Application submitted and text received to say valuation booked
    14/05 Hard search
    16/05 Valuation took place
21/05 Texts all within a minute to confirm valuation happened, had been accepted then that they'd issued a mortgage offer

    Super speedy!
  • Created an account to contribute my timeline and details to this after all the unfounded anxiety I experienced applying for a Nationwide Helping Hand product

24th June 2024 - Application Submitted and texts received to confirm product reservation
26th June 2024 - Text confirming that valuation had been instructed for the following day (27th)
27th June 2024 - Text confirming that the valuation had been completed and the report received
1st July 2024 - Reached out to broker (moneybox) for an update, advised that NW had asked for my June payslip to confirm bonus (expected as it was not published when I submitted the application) Provided the document within the hour and was advised that there would be a ~3day lead time for the next update
4th July 2024 - Received a text confirming that an offer had been issued and was in the post. Proceeded to become a human jellyfish as the anxiety was released!

Absolutely no complaints with either Nationwide or Moneybox. 8 working day lead time for the offer on the Nationwide side and my poor Moneybox advisor put up with my incessant questions and worries!
