Hi, Nationwide here. We've received your mortgage application. If you're an existing customer switching to a new deal, your switch has been accepted.

How long does Nationwide take to do a valuation after application has been approved? We accepted an offer 4 weeks back but have not had a valuation from the buyers who are using Nationwide.0

Nationwide doesn't do the valuation. It instructs its panel manager Countrywide Surveyors who in turn instruct one of its individual surveyors, or another firm if it doesn't have capacity/coverage in a particular area. The surveyor will contact the access provided (EA, vendor, builder?) to arrange the inspection and following the visit, a report is returned to Nationwide and assessed.I am a mortgage broker.
