Our broker has just let us know that he hasn't added a note that part of our deposit is gifted onto the application!!
We had emailed him the details but he just added the total deposit onto the form rather than specify. We now need to get our 'donors' to sign the gifted deposit form and hope it doesn't slow things down to much0 -
@Cheryl2010 Hi, any luck with your application yet?
We had our valuation and survey last Friday. The guy called us after as a courtesy call to say everything was ok with the property and valuation was fine. We haven't heard anything from Nationwide since though other than the valuation was received and will be reviewed.

Hi, unfortunately nothing yet.
We got a text on Wednesday 24th to say the valuation had been received, they then needed more documentation on Friday 26th. Not heard anything back since.
I have my fingers crossed we will hear back within the next week0 -
@Cheryl2010 Hopefully you'll hear back by the end of this week as our broker advised Nationwide are taking 2 working days to review all documents.
The waiting for an outcome is torture!0 -
Hi!Just sharing our experience with Nationwide. We've had 2 mortgage offers(seller pulled out on one of the purchases) from them in the last few months and here are the timelines:I. 85% LTVi. Mortage application submittedii. Hard check done 1 day after applicationiii. Valuation booked 7 days after applicationiv. Offer issued 18 days after application.Total length from submission to offer - 18 days.II. Less than 85% LTVi. Mortage application submittediii. Valuation booked 1 day after applicationiv. Offer issued after 12 days.Total length from submission to offer - 12 days.In both instances, the valuation report came back fine and they provided the full amount we needed.

We have had a slight update, the broker has spoken to Nationwide who have confirmed no other documents are needed etc and it is now in the queue for final checks.
I am hoping this is good news, and it means we will be approved for the offer as surely will would have been asked for more documentation/ declined by now?0 -
@Cheryl2010 You'd think that you are just waiting for it to be signed off for approval if no more documentation required!
Hopefully we are in the same position, application was submitted 23rd May and valuation is fine.
Fingers crossed for you!0 -
@stedon - we haven't even had through confirmation of valuation yet! I received a text message around the 24th confirming they had received the report etc and would be in touch but haven't had anything since.
I am hoping no news , is good news! Got everything crossed we will hear by the end of the week so we can start pushing for missives to be signed etc0 -
Well finally got good news today - we have had our mortgage offer through!!
Such a weight of our shoulders, now to get a date for missives and a move in date confirmed0 -
