I am having a nightmare with Nationwide. Poor to little communication and the stage I am at keeps changing.
7/11 - application made
8/11- hard search on credit report
14/11 - declined due to max lend
14/11 - appealled and also got a gift from mother in law incase appeal was unsuccessful to try to keep it moving
18/11 - application email as application agreed in principal as long as gift declaration sent
18/11 - sent what was requested
Today - call called chase to be decline back to refer with senior underwriter
Nothings changed, no valuation done and I am at a real loss0 -

I found Nationwide great.
11/11. Application made via broker. Text to confirm them text to say valuation booked
16/11 we’ve received your valuation
17/11 mortgage offer issued
We’re in permanent employment and only borrowing 2.5x salary which helped0 -

No, we went with a broker so had given him 3 months payslips, evidence credit cards were paid off and have no other loans.
he did say Nationwide are fast if things go smoothly but slow if they come back looking for documents0 -
Valuation happened on Monday, I am waiting now.
I'm sorta hoping the mortgage rate drops again in the next month.0 -
