You’ve been so lucky! Congratulations on your offer 🥳 the exact same thing happened to me with the request for documents! We have gone through two more payslips, since our application was sent in and I only found out we needed them as I had contacted NW myself through webchat 😭PG77 said:Dear all,
Here is my timeline, i think we have been very lucky to be fair but it didn't stop me from getting angry/nervous/frustrated throughout. FTB - 75% LTV + 20% HTB + 5% Deposit.
20/08 - DIP
20/08 - Soft Credit Search reported on all CRA';s.
20/08 - Full application submitted (Text received from NW)
24/08 - Valuation booked for 28/08 (Text received from NW)
28/08 - Valuation carried out 28/08 (Text received from NW)
02/09 - Additional document needed (Found this out when i contacted NW via webchat, they hadn't asked my broker yet)
07/09 - Contacted Webchat again. Was told document takes 9 days to review and will likely hear around 16th.
08/09 - Mortgage offer issued (Text Received. Offer in writing sent to Broker on PDF)
Used a broker, has been no hard search. 12 Working days end to end.
What i would say is, apart from the additional payslip, we received no requests for documentation because our broker asked us for it up front (There was a lot). The additional was due to falling into a new month.
He analysed our financial information and the documents to back it up before he advised which lender to go with.
They asked him for the documents they needed and he uploaded straight away because he had it all. There was no back and forth. I'm so glad i used one. A good, reputable, broker..in my opinion, has made all the difference.
I’m getting so desperate now!!!Nationwide application- FTB, 85% LTV

You are very lucky, we are 75% LTV - 20% HTB - 5% deposit - we were asked for x3 additional docs on 19/8, other than our valuation, there is nothing else for them to do other than issue the offer.PG77 said:Dear all,

(not visible on tracker) An email was sent to the broker on this day.02/09 - Broker says no such email is received. Requested me to wait a few days as the service levels show that the documents on 26/08 weren't probably reviewed.Have held myself back from contacting live chat or calling Natwest as that seems to be one of the reasons why this isn't progressing. Was so happy that the valuation was done fairly quickly but now the offer part is taking forever!Anything I can do to speed up the process? I have submitted literally every document with a strong supporting document to make sure the mortgage application is air tight. The application is on the basis of 80%-20% LTV.0
