Joining the circle. 5 working days from completion, everything done but buyer’s solicitor has noticed Nationwide have put the wrong lease length on their mortgage offer (85 when it should be 120).
This was raised last Thursday, still waiting to hear back. Agonising as we’re cutting it so close to mortgage expiry dates etc.0 -
I’ve been following this thread, waiting for my mortgage offer. Thought I’d share my really impressive time scale. 5 working days!! It might help that I am an existing customer porting and borrowing more?? Good luck to everyone waiting!0

Got an email from my broker today who said all of our documents have been accepted, they are just waiting on approval of the valuation that took place yesterday. I was initially super happy, but now I’ve begun to worry about the valuation. I can see others have received a text to confirm nationwide have received the report, however we haven’t got anything. I can only assume they have received it by now and they just didn’t text us.0

How long is it since you’ve had your valuation done?0

10/02 - mortgage application submitted10/02 - text/email confirmation of application from Nationwide14/02 - text to say valuation booked for 15/0215/02 - text saying valuation received17/02 - mortgage offer issuedProbably worth mentioning that I called Nationwide directly on 16/02 to see if I could find out whether the valuation was accepted. The kind advisor on the phone told me it was! Long wait trying to get through but it was worth it, would recommend it for anyone who is still waiting to find out.0

I’m not expecting the offer just yet, just thought we would have got a text to say the valuation report had been received as that seems to be the norm. Especially as we’ve received text updates up to now….only time will tell how it all goes 😊0
