We have just had our message through to say that the mortgage offer has been issued. Delighted.

So to summarise timescales:
04/02/2022: DIP approved and application made

10/02/2022: valuation completed and report returned

13/02/2022: hard searches show up on equifax

14/02/2022: mortgage offer received

Relieved and delighted! 

Hope everyone else gets similar news soon. The waiting is painful!

16/01 Valuation instructed confirmed by broker 
20/01 Valuation instruction and booked for 31/01 and carried out as planned on 31/01
04/02 Valuation report Received (Text confirmation)
04/02 Valuation approved (Nationwide test confirmation)
07/02 further documents requested in regards to deposit.
11/02 further deposit provided to broker.
14/02 further documents passed to lender by broker and case escalated by broker for further update due to exchange deadline set by the seller.

Stilling waiting. no offer yet!!

Once again, Nationwide have excelled.

• DIP received: Wednesday 9 Feb 2022
• Mortgage Appointment with NW MA : Thursday 10 Feb 2022 and full application submitted.
• "Valuation booked" text:  Friday 11 Feb 2022
• Valuation received/ reviewed and OFFER ISSUED :  Monday 14 December 2022

So from DIP to offer in literally a few days! 

I am under the Scottish system so the home report, submitted at the mortgage appointment, incorporates the valuation section and seems to make things more streamlined.

I've told my solicitor to crack on now and get missives concluded (again, Scottish system), and sort a date of entry as soon as possible thereafter.

10 out of 10 from me for service from Nationwide - couldn't have asked for any better.

(PS: I was an existing customer, so don't know if that assisted in terms of process times.)

Congrats Ben and Mike on your mortgage offers! Timelines seem to be looking promising at the moment, really nervous about my application now that the valuation has been booked. Here's my timeline so far: 

10/02 - mortgage application submitted via MA

10/02 - text/email confirmation of application from Nationwide

14/02 - text to say valuation booked for 15/02

@FirstTB2022 Unfortunately like you, I’m still waiting. After further information was requested last Tuesday, my MA chased them today and we are still in a queue for this information to be processed!

Was application a refer case at DIP ! Mine was so manual underwriting.
