Was your application refer at DIP? Mine was, so manual underwriting!jo4514 said:Congratulations on those with recent mortgage offers!
@FirstTB2022 Unfortunately like you, I’m still waiting. After further information was requested last Tuesday, my MA chased them today and we are still in a queue for this information to be processed!0 -
Do you mind me asking if you know what kind of underwriting happens to cases that aren’t referred? I assume underwriting still takes place but what’s the difference with manual underwriting?FirstTB2022 said:Was application a refer case at DIP ! Mine was so manual underwriting.I am finding Nationwide quite slow at reviewing documents. If they ask for something extra, it takes them the best part of a week to look at them. Our valuation is due on Wednesday and I had to provide a back to work letter in relation to my maternity leave last Thursday, so I’m hopeful we will hear something by the end of the week 🤞0 -
not 100% sure though, I think most normal cases decision making are automated with some manual document checking. Usually document reviewing take up-to 4 days. so hopefully today or tomorrow you should have an update.Pinky_1990 said:

Do people with MA's have direct access to them? ie email or phone numbers? It's a pain having to just phone the generic phone number all the time.
Anyone had a valuation expire? Did Nationwide just use the previous valuation or did they actually send a valuer back to the property?0 -
No, but we run a limited company and I think it’s possible ours is a manual underwriting because of this too.FirstTB2022 said:Was application a refer case at DIP ! Mine was so manual underwriting.
I agree with you @Pinky_1990 that processing of documents is slow. If more documents are requested you’re back in a queue and almost back to square one. It’s usually been a Tuesday our documents have been requested so it keeps pushing into the following week. I’m amazed to see that some people are getting offers within a few days! Nationwide have now also carried out two soft searches and a hard search on us.0 -
Same, we run a limited company too. Just spoke to my mortgage broker this morning, she said we could have an update any minute now as our full application went 16/01, and we have an exchange of contract deadline, as she has escalated the case. hopefully its an offer!jo4514 said:

Congratulations @FirstTB2022!
I’m still waiting. I put my full application in on 25/1, a week after you, so maybe I just need to be a little bit more patient!0 -
