Credit Karma are absolutely useless by the way. I tried to sign up and it said I had a thin credit file, which they say was because my bank isn't registered to the address I currently live. Closed the account and signed up with the address that my bank is at, and then added my current address to the account, and now it's saying I'm not on the electoral roll. I think they'll find that I am and have been for years! 🙄

Thanks guys, I'm fully invested as to how yours turn out aswell coz I feel like this has been a long haul for us all so I will keep checking in.
Next hurdle for us now as our home was built in 2017 but the people they purchased the 10 year guarantee with have gone bust so need to find out if our lender will accept the new company- its never ending is it, if not after all of this I will cry. X

    Help! I’m frustrated beyond belief!
    Offer accepted on house 31/06
Mortgage application went in to Nationwide 14/07 (previously went to Barclays but fell through)
Valuation booked and provided same day 17/07
Questions from nationwide re paying loan off - provided answer same day as well as proof 20/07
10/08 - application escalated by BDM via MA
14/08 - only waiting for valuation to be ticked off now (Despite being told by nationwide directly on 31/07 that it was okay)
17/08 - still waiting mortgage offer

will the waiting ever end :(
Update... we got our mortgage offer today! In total 34 days from application to offer!
Congrats! They go by working days, so 25 working days. So much for their 20 day timescale 🙈
Did you miss the word average?  ;)
